Everybody gangsta until they start hosting a podcast
In translation: Dunc Robeezy comes out when he’s on the court….when he’s on the pod he’s Duncan
More mic’d up moments Duncan and more segments like this
Duncan got a Blaccent when he hoops 😂
I can completely relate. I’m naturally an introvert but I immediately become an extrovert when I’m playing basketball
@riqui5406

Also its called code switching for the thing where you talk or act in one situation versus another. The difference is usually the instrinsic culture or expectations in the situation one finds themselves in.

I love the code switching from him lol
great segment you sound so hype on the court with your teammates. Freak something next year though you have that in you.
Duncan... What you were trying to describe when changing how to talk while on the court vs how you talk off the court is called "code switching". The black community does this often when we go to work at a predominantly white workplace. Changing your normal vernacular to adjust to the dominant culture you're working in...
I love this man so much and this segment was my fav. more pls!!
This is the BEST VIDEO YOU EVER UPLOADED I WATCHED THIS EVERYDAY FOR 2 weeks
“that’s my dogggg!” duncan and tyler the hood babies 😂😂
Duncan is so underrated on 2k, kid hits from logo range👏🔥
I can not emphasize enough how much I relate to the fact that my vernacular changes when I’m on the court lmao it’s borderline non-coherent
I really enjoyed this segment Duncan😄 the ability to adapt on and off the court is brilliant. 😄💯
Thanks for the commentary and insight!
Bro I love duncan
Yesssirrrrkyyy need some more Duncan micd up 😂
Listening to Duncan micd up is a great experience lol
I ain't a hooper but I can relate to this segment because I talk way different and way more hyped during video games. Even the repeating the same word over and over, is spot on.
Coming out with killer content, big fan man!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 love ya Duncan long time york beach vacationer and born and raised in Nashua nh love your podcast keep up the awesome work
Great Vid guys, this is definitely the type of vid that goes viral too!

That difference from how you are off to on the court is called going to work. We love it. Heat Lifers that is.. 😇 Also LOL at fuzzy Davis aka Mr Producer. He sounded like he was literally tiny and inside your ear pods. This was fun and I would hate having to wear a mic but at your expense it is fantastic, Yessir ski! 😅🤍
Loved this vid
Duncan is my favorite nba player ever since last years finals
Love these
The "Its true I don't sound like that... except when I'm playing basketball" is insanely relatable.

Great content
I can appreciate your humbleness for sure bro, but you one of the top 500!! let these folks know not to play you or your swag on the court!! it’s the reason i’m a fan lol!! we all code switch depending on the situations, if anything you proving you just like us with how work you and home you are different! which is the same as everyone else!! keep doing your thing bro! loved this vid lol you tryna awkwardly explain why one of the best sharpshooters in the world could feel inclined to have fun at work😂😭

Duncan’s inner black man comes out in a game
srsly cant imagine this guy wearing other jersey except that 55 on heat though
What I would like to see is explanations of conversations players have with each other when they come off the court for time-outs or during free-throws. You know, when they're on camera but you can't read their lips.
athletic version of ryan holiday fr
If the me that comes out when I’m playing football did a phone job interview I’d get absolutely no responses lmao
code-switching is wicked natural on a basketball court. I definitely start speaking more "ebonically" once I'm about 2 minutes into the game. More abbreviations. It is because you mirror that which you observe. If you play with people like that, you start to act that way. exact same as picking up accents.
What does freak something mean?
Very amusing guy
YES SIRSKI !!!!
Still waiting for kawhi's mic'd up
During the game Dunc turns into Tyler Hero

1:33 this play brings Me pain. I called the season before this the heat vs celtics ecf and miami making it to the finals, didn't bet on it like a dummy and lost millions, but this game I put up $10 3 game parlay and I missed $20,000 by 1 Marcus smart 3. Also covid corrutption and policitcs shut down the games a month before I was gonna go to a Boston vs heat game 😒😒😒
Y’all see Duncan Robinson I see sheen 😎

Duncan such a good dude lol hope the heat can lock him in
Lmao at white people discovering the word "yessirski"
You should lower the volume of the clips. Your talkinf voice is so much quieter, and I have to constantly change the volume on my phone...
Yah I think it's called code-switching...
