I first watched him (on TV as I live in Aus) get the goal against Man U on the 25th Feb 1995. It's been my dream to meet him since I was 12. It took 20 years, but last year it finally happened. In the space of 3 days I actually got to see him twice. I asked him to sign my arm, and I got it tattooed. Happiest day of my life. I collapsed on the floor in tears when he kissed me on my cheek!! LOL. Love him. Such a gentleman. (I did the zip slide with him, if you've seen the video of that).

my first game at everton as a season ticket holder was a night game at home to charlton.big dunc had returned from a shit team in the north east and came off the bench to score twice.we were singing in gwladys street on the way home.what a perfect night.a true blue hero.

Last time I saw him play for Dundee United. He scored early on in a Tayside Derby at Tannadice....he knew....we knew (The fans.) He was leaving for Ibrox/Elland Road/Stamford Bridge/Bayern Munich. Any way he scores....and then proceeds to batter Dundee's back four. One after another. Their manager was Jim Duffy (who was still playing.) was screaming at Dunc. He'd apologise to Jim and then do it again. Too funny. Good career. Selfishly I wished he'd stayed a wee bit longer at Tannadice.

As a red it pains me to say big Dunc was an animal I truly believe the kept him caged then brought him out on match days
