As someone who works for tjmaxx, i can tell you rn, what you found was not thrown out because it was messed up or whatever. An employee or manager purposely threw that out to collect later on after their shift is over. We are supposed to destroy everything before it’s thrown out into the dumpsters. So you definitely got lucky with those finds.

I watch a lot of dumpster diving videos it's just disgusting to me how much is thrown away so glad you're able to save some of it

The funniest thing about the broken candles is that you finish breaking the glass and the candle is intact and hello! new refill for the non broken candles after those run out 😂

Candy doesn’t expire, sugar last forever that’s why it’s a preservative. Even if the box says expired,it’s fine

I would have gotten all the clothing and sewn them back to new then donated them. Love this channel seeing all the goodies you find.

Take the candles that are broken and cut them up into wax melts or just put it on a candle plate.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to the expiry dates on candies because they’re just loaded with sugar and sugar is a preserver. How could a lollypop go bad?

I'm wondering if a employee threw it in the trash hoping to find it later. The broken candle can be cut up for wax melts. Great haul with everything. Lululemon is such a pricey brand. Its so sad to see all that food go to waste. Im happy that some people like you are able to get this stuff for free and save the environment as well.

The drunk elephant goldi drops are out of stock everywhere! So the fact that they are throwing them away is just shocking

This is wild at all the products that could be donated or better dispose of. I worked for Sephora and you won’t find shit in our trash but trash lol everything goes to proper recycling centers. Exp flammable goes to one center all other goes to a destroy and recycled center and made into other things. The only waste is the displays but some brands actually made us send those back to them to recycle. More retailers should follow….yikes.

in most states its perfectly legal as long as the dumspter is on public property and not on private property.

take the candle and put it in another holder. And all that food you could have taken if they weren't open and donated that to food pantries if you didn't want it then it wouldn't have been a waste like you said. Yes, the store is wasteful, but the food was there for the taking. I would have grabbed it all. Still a great haul. From Pekin, IL.

I was definitely just about to say that they mainly throw them all out because of the expiration date, or if it’s close to the expiration date they definitely should be more careful on what they choose to do with the food and consider giving it out to people.

You can melt down the broken candles by putting them in a bowl and melting them down in a pan with a water in it. Then get some wicks and a pillar from the Dollar tree and you have the candle back.

Yess they would loss money but they already would be loosing it but the6 could do a section where they put all the things that are for like free or reduce price if packaging it broken or like one thing is missing out of a set it would be a lot better and not a waste

This is so sad how much stuff could have gone to waste. I saw a dumpster diving video the other day at Petco and there was live animals living in the dumpster. Many fish and sea animals in small water containers. It was so sad how they left animals there too die.

Just wanted to say I love your videos & website. If I may give 1 tiny suggestion the marble effect on the website makes it kinda hard to see for people with vision problems. Other than that you get 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely keep checking back.
