I work at a tjmaxx in a small town and whatever doesn’t sell at the end of the season, we donate it to local shelters! These past Holidays we had a ton of Christmas baby clothes that didn’t sell and they were all donated. Pretty awesome!

So glad that your store does that! I can’t stand these companies allowing these things to be thrown away…

I can’t believe stores do this the retail store I work at I asked the manager what we do with all the damaged products we have. She said she goes through them a few times a year and offers them to us employees. Whatever we don’t want she takes and donates! 90% of it is still good! Can’t believe these places just throw it out!

Yes Sears did that once upon a time with returns, then it stopped and ended up in the garbage crusher. At Midway airlines we could buy lost luggage once every 6 months & flight attendant rain coats, umbrellas, flight luggage.

That Claire’s haul would be awesome to donate to a women and childrens shelter! I used to live next door to one and would gift the kids some of my sons old toys and they always were so excited to receive something new to play with or use!

It is horrible for what they toss out. None of this spoils. Glad you got all the goodies to keep and share

How ridiculous, throwing out brand new bags just because they're fall designs! A bag is a bag and if you're using it for shopping or storage, who cares whether it's in season or not? Their loss is definitely someone else's gain.

Great Score! We went out the day after Christmas and while we where digging through the Bath and Body Works dumpster the manager came out and busted us and gave us 14 bags of things. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Santa brought me some Snap On Tools so I was happy.

What's a good time to go dumpster diving without getting caught?

@@gabbysgarden5323 Walk into the stores you like diving at and look around and talk to store employees but don't say anything about dumpster diving or ask to dive their dumpster. Stores like Family Dollar, Dollar General and Dollar Tree go in and purchase a soda and offer to buy employees a drink. Stop in once a week or ever couple of weeks and make a small purchase and talk to employees. Let them get to know you. Build a friendship and trust. Stores like Family Dollar and Dollar General the employees has to go out and get shopping carts. They don't have a person like the grocery stores do. After we go through their dumpster we go around to the front of the store and if they have shopping carts in the parking lot I round them up and take them in. it might take about five minutes to do this. We have managers as subscribers and mangers we can text to see if they have anything to bring out to us. We only been busted twice and I didn't lie about what we where doing. If you do come across a rude manager respond with kindness. We are about love, kindness and helping others. Happy New Year to all that reads this. @@lifewithalondra8868 You can get caught any time. If you dive during the day store employees can catch you. If you dive during the night police and security can bust you. Even if it's legal in your area the police still might stop and ask what your doing. I think it would be safer for a woman to dive during the day so I would recommend diving during the day. Find out what the laws are in your area. We have been dumpster diving since 2011 and only been busted two times. I hope this helps. Stay Safe and Happy Diving.

I just never heard of a manager like that being so nice. Their is a sign 🪧 on the dumpster IF anyone gets caught their is a fee. I l think 🤔 I did a video on my other channel??? I have done different times dumpster diving because it’s better to do that !! Weirdos and junkies hanging out and it shocking how these drug addicts show up and do that and try to tell me there was a guy sleeping 🛌 in the dumpster lol 😂 they must be hallucinating because I have never 👎 seen one !!! Do you see ? It didn’t scare me 😳 one ☝️ bit !! Do people really need to be like that ??? I can share and I always do. I gave a bunch of lotions 🧴 from the dumpsters and make up and a bunch of stuff even some of my cds 💿 of the ones I don’t watch. Maybe 🤔 others can enjoy 😊 them like 👍 I did !!! It lightens my load and all. I’ve made friends with two of my dumpster diving stores. I’ve been dumpster diving 8 years or more and decided to start a channel Gabby’s Goods and than now Gabby’s Garden 🪴

I've gotten so many candles that even after repotting them and giving for gifts, I still have tons.some I haven't repotted yet..

The stores that I used to know of have doors that go straight into giant trucks. No way to get anything, just off to the landfill ❤

This is amazing finds, here in Vegas all dumpsters are locked and they are inside another huge carport box and locked, I have looked everywhere in Vegas, no luck!!!

Can I say suggestion nursing homes they definitely love! I'm a nurse and they look forward of bingo the get tired of eating candy but they love decorations especially I mean yes they like candy but the fact is that they like decor they like little trinkets they like personal items and if you don't mind me asking reach out to other dumpster diapers and tell them they definitely love things like that it brightens up their day and they get so excited and they love to show off what they win

I live in a nursing and rehab facility and it's awful that things that people could use are thrown away because there are many people that don't have much of anything they would love anything they received and would be grateful for it and it's amazing how much our insurance pays the facility and the food we have to eat for the most part is awful but we eat it because otherwise we'll go without I feel like the money allotted to the facility for our activities and food and treatment is misused and it's horrible because most of the people need what is our right as human beings to have but if we complain we will surely be kicked out our clothes go missing probably being stolen by the employees who work in the laundry department and our clothes get bleached and destroyed anyway if anyone wants to donate to the facility send me a direct message to my email account and I will give you the address and you can check it out so you will know I'm not trying to get free stuff my name is Tania Green thank you 😊 and God bless you....

I love your videos! What do you think of going a little slower when you show what you got especially the make up?

It would be great to drop those bags off at a food bank. People are always in need of good strong bags to carry groceries home in. Bags were an issue when they still had access to plastic I can't imagine how people are getting their groceries home now. As a matter of fact the food bank also does take items that aren't food related. Of course they're not interested in anything that's used or broken but they'll often have little extras sitting in a box for people that have kids or that type of thing. If anyone else happens to read this I can't express enough that no one is in more need then local food banks. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that you have an even better New Year. I think 2023 should be the year of give until it hurts. At least a little. LOL

You going to have to research about country, city, laws, those rules or laws or conditions. Ask your local people within the law practice or city council if it is legal?
