In Australia we have a charity called Oz Harvest and they have an agreement with the big food shops that they will take fresh produce which is being taken from the shelves and distribute it to those in need through foid banks. Saves all that produce going in the dumpsters and people get fresh food.

I love how she gets so excited about things when taking out of bag❤️. Great mom you are teaching her to share with the unfortunate ❤️

Great recommendation I will consider that next time we actually donated them to homeless people around our community and drop some off at the blessing box hopefully someone will be able to rescue them 😊

My kids are in their 40's. They all volunteer and give to charity. So do my daughters in law and grandchildren. Your daughter will meet nice people this way. Tina, Al's wife

That cut blanket is really easy fix sewing it by hand and you’re never going to notice that the way everybody drapes a blanket nowadays and does it really matter when you’re snuggled under it if you see the fixed sew seem?

As long as it doesn't say no trespassing, you should be fine . I've had police show up on me but most of the time they are just curious as to what you are doing. I had a cop pull up when I was INSIDE a dumpster lol . He just said it was strange seeing someone in a dumpster lol I showed him what I was pulling out and he was shocked! He let me continue and he went on about his way that night ☺️

don’t know where you live, and it’s great that you donate food, but most places, leaving food outside, even in boxes, is an invitation for animals to get into everything. And they remember where they got food and keep coming back.

Why do I feel like I’m the only that thinks taking food out of the dumpster is the grossest thing ever doesn’t even matter if it’s sealed. And then donating it? If a ton of people died from nasty disease she would have to held liable

🤷‍♀️to each their own . I don't see how I could be held liable when people are choosing to take the items from a free pantry but I'm not into all the legality in it . I know if someone is hungry, they can wash a apple and eat it . Shit if I found a apple on the ground and I was hungry you bet your britches I'd wash and eat it !!! And some bread as well as the chips !!! But again to each their own 😁 thanks for stopping by ☺️

Aww thanks , we had a fire YEARS ago and lost everything in the apartment. So we've experienced first hand having just the clothes on our backs ! Although it was temporary, we did get help from others when needed so it's always good to give back in ANYWAY possible . Thanks for watching 🥰

She is so adorable 🥰 TJ MAXXS has some AMAZING finds !! ❤ I miss going to TJ MAXXS ❤ Nice 👍 Nike basketball 🏀 great finds ❤ You can put some sort of twine or a piece of ribbon 🎀 to tie around it to cover up the crack on Rae Dunn. Since they have already cut them up you can cut them up the rest of the way if you want ❤ and use them for a garland or a wreath. I miss dumpster diving I may have to walk some places ❤

Thanks so much for watching 🥰 and you know people honestly need to go through certain things in life to humble themselves . Years ago I've had an apartment fire and lost everything. Literally everything except the clothes on my back, so because of that traumatic event I've known what it was like for people to be able to help me firsthand. And since we got help when we needed it I feel like it is my duty to just help others. 🥰

I have always been a giver which led me to become a nurse so I found it difficult to accept help after the fire. My friends were there and got pushy about letting them help us. You’re right in that some people will step up in certain situations.

Oh we sound alike ! My daughter was also in the NICU/Picu for SEVERAL months (9) born with omphalocele (organs out side her abdominal wall) and I'm then DAME exact way about receiving help hahah I don't take it very well but I LOVE helping others . I had a baby 2 months ago it was so awkward for me to receive gifts instead of giving them out to people!!!

Maybe in your opinion but I've gotten very far on this channel with grabbing bags and then doing the hauls . I get in and out vs sitting there taking my time . The longer your in a area the higher chance of getting caught

Yeah we've saved a couple items like that before but with my mom's help 😂unfortunately , home economics was not my favorite subject in high school . I can do a simple hand stitch but that would take way too long for these blankets , So we took them to be donated. Thanks for watching 🥰

My sister lives out in a small town and she says the same thing. Although there are times she does find stuff most of the dumpsters are locked up or have compactors where she is at as well!
