23 years later, both coaches meet in the Round of 32 (Duke vs. San Diego St).
I feel that Grant Hill should have been the MVP. 18 points and 10 rebounds, and gave Michigan fits on both ends for the whole game.

No bro, Christian was the best player in the game,he was a great College player and for some reason lost his desire when he went pro, but that dude was a great player

@dalegriffin6768 for the whole game? Absolutely not, Christian had a good second half but was horrible the first half. But Grant Hill kept them in it when they couldn't get anything done and finished Michigan off.

Hill should have definitely been the Championship games Mvp. I watched this game live & Hill carried Duke to the victory. Christian was not good in the game against Indiana & Hill was a HUGE reason Duke come back in that game to even get to this 1. Christian Laettner is absolutely a Duke legend & 1 of my all time favorite college players but Grant should have been named mvp for this game. Not to forget also what a great job Hill did on defense.

they are all rich in the nba. just like Kentucky. duke does nothing in the nba compared to uk, unc, and michigan. Uk has the way better program

It started with UNLV. Kentucky and this took it to a whole new level of hate. You can see even to this day....Fab 5 players still hate these guys. 😂😂
