It wasn't shown here, but Coach K tracing the tears with his finger on Quinn Cook's cheek during "One Shining Moment" was the most beautiful thing to see. Quinn has said that Coack K was like a father to him, and that was a very father like thing to do. If you ever get to watch the team watching "One Shining Moment", look for that towards the end!

Wouldn't have mattered that he did! It would not have changed the final outcome! Duke was ahead by 5 points, not by only 1 or 2! And there was not a guarantee that Wisconsin scores had they switched the call! Everybody seems to forget it was Duke that had the lead and momentum at that time and assumes that call cost the Badgers! Duke wasn't gonna just give away that lead even if the officials reversed! Totally agree 100% and thought that as the tournament progressed! Both Duke and Wisconsin had been battle hardened throughout the season while Kentucky basically cruised with very few close calls! They took advantage of what had been an overall down year in the SEC, as evidenced by the fact of their five teams that made the Dance, only Kentucky made it through 2 the second weekend! Have always been disappointed as to people's perception that Duke didn't play anybody to get to Indy! And I've always begged to differ! San Diego St was a tournament perennial at that time with Steve Fisher, Utah had a very good team led by Delon Wright and the Zags are always a March fixture and then of course Mr March himself Tom Izzo we took down in the semifinals! So just because of an opponents' seeding doesn't mean Duke didn't earn it! Plus, it was the best defensive run we've had of any of the five titles! I've been a Duke fan since 1981-82 and that defensive run of ours is up there with '06 Florida and '84 Georgetown! Nobody scored more than the 63 Wisconsin had in those six games against us!

He didn't cost his team nearly as much as Dekker did though, who kept hoisting up shots trying to "shoot his way out of it" and never did. KY had the best college team ever assembled. Period. They just didn’t have the best bench coach. Calipari is known for losing close games and as usual, after a team plays their game of the year and beats KY, they usually fold in the next game. Any team in the country in 2015 played a 10 game series against KY loses at least 9 every time. KY had the number 1 team in the country and their bench was 2nd and 3rd.

If you're talking about the song that was played by Duke after the game was over, the song is called "Devil with a Blue Dress" by Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels (link below). Technically it's not their fight song. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qoytmdOSca7YlsY.html Their fight song (below) is usually played at the end of the 1st half kzread.info/dash/bejne/gWSI26iCmKWspdI.html

It's easier to be called the best defensive team in the country when the refs will never call a foul on you. The whistle the first 30 minutes in this game was going Wisconsin's way anyways. Not too many basketball games where 1 team only commits 2 fouls in a single half.

UW leading by 9 with 13 mins left then everytime Duke had the ball their was a foul called. One of the more "suspicious" of National Title games. When you look at close up footage of those last 13 mins. Duke was about +8 in non calls and calls that went their way. Up to that point UW was about +2. Duke finished at +6 with a "flurry" of calls going their way. Very suspicious.
