I have luckily seen the 'NITL' tour 4 times. The tour has grossed well over half a BILLION dollars! Duff truly seems like one of the nicest, most genuine, and altruistic rock heroes I have. I sure he's done a lot of good with this substantial (and most unlikely) windfall. Hopefully he's helped make a lot of people's lives 'not so' Cold Outside.

I've been homeless before, I really appreciate your love and kindness. I'm on top again, by the Grace of God. You are the real deal DUFF. Thanks brother.

I remember what it's like being out there, in shelters, it sucked ass big time. No warm bed, no fresh cooked hot meal. Again on the cold hard floor because there's too damn many of us looking for housing. It sucks !

Terry Ishless your a sad human being and part of what’s wrong with this world. You are also showing how ignorant you are. Homelessness happens to everyone, from every area of life. I know people that work 2 jobs that live in their car because their rent was tripled and they had no where else to go. It’s not just drug users and the mentally ill. It could easily happen to you. I almost feel sorry for you and your dead soul but I’ll just chalk you up to another pathetic walking around. Watch your back for that karma .

It was such an honour to meet Duff McKagan at a booksigning in a bookstore (Barnes n' Nobles ) on third street promenade downtown St.Monica /CA. Instant soul connection..When Billy Idol appeared later it was interesting ..I think,Duff inspired him to write his own book..which I couldn't review sofar,as they froze money I invested in the US for more than 8 years ..which caused a lot of problems...I needed to return p e n n i l e s s in oct.2019 instead of with $ 5 Mill..- which were promised to me . The Afro American supplier ,of my JV partner,a diamond and gold dealer however ran away with my money and never returned.All attempts to find out about ZEE KOROMA and the mining operation she intended to start on her own property in Freetown,Sierra Leone,failed. I lost my 650.000 E home in Germany,as I didn't come up with 20.000 E to prevent the auction in time. ..though my new German bank offered to refinance and issue a creditline to prevent the auction Foul play in the German justice department and socalled "elite"who once financed and bought my art,left me without a home (again..)..

Portland is your weird little brother city. We’re suffering here too. When I’m in LA I always think this has to be better than a February morning in my town. Portland is cold wet and windy. The winter nights are dark and unforgiving. The days only a short break from the next long night. I think at least in LA it’s warm enough to survive. Here in the PNW I’m amazed we don’t have more deaths. I went on a pretty rough skid 20 years ago. Man, it’s happens slowly and then all of the sudden. Usually by the time you see it it’s already to late to save your self. You need help. I was lucky to have a wonderful support system and now All these years later I have my own family and two amazing daughters who I just hope recognize what a razors edge we all walk a couple bad choices and your under I-5 mixed up is some very dark and lethal things. A couple bad choices away... all of us are just a couple bad choices away. All of us who judge and shake our heads. Man I hate to see it too the crime the filth the drugs and the deaths. I’d rather focus my energy away from anger and towards a solution like you! Thank you DUFF for using your beautiful voice to show the world it’s not hopeless, not yet. We’re all so lucky to have your heart up here in the trees and mountains and the sea. I know we’re gonna heal and become stronger!
