skill say thnx to indalamar for weak warrrior class af, taht dumb dude recorded video of PVE !!!! killing mobs 6-7 in a row and saying it OP :DD warriors gets nerf, i should record video next to him and show how my mage pulls 300+ mobs in mara, or full DM farm, could pull entire room of lashes and wreck them

I’m glad you like the videos! I’d suggest logging in during the evening time, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We do pop BGs everyday of the week but Friday night is the main night. It won’t look like a lot of players on but generally that’s because they are out doing stuff. You can /who to see who is on, but they are there :) living the classic dream hah

I will be rolling on Whitemane and starting the leveling process this evening. It seemed like there were fairly dead starting zones compared to Bloodsail, but I have no interest in HC. I am hoping that as the Classic Vanilla revival continues to gain traction, Whitemane will be the populated PVP realm.

I hope you have a good experience! My recommendation would be to do “/join lookingforgroup” to help find a leveling guild. Also in the description of this video is a link to the main Classic Era discord. That may also help you find a leveling guild. /who can also be useful. I hope that helps!

Paladins are way better in PvP than shamans. Dwarf priest annihilates undead priest since their priest racial ability and general racial ability completely obliterate them. Honestly, the arena is a crap environment for various classes such as hunter or mage. They need space to kite and keep their distance, so it's no wonder they underperformed, especially the hunter.

Damn that rogue Fatjaws was amazing against that warlock. Big gg for him. i was sweating watching the fight kek.

Cool video man thanks. But you should target one and focus the other and move the frames too the middle of ur screen, then you could see both players and debuffs etc. You might need a addon for it but it would make it much easier to comentate. Thanks

Love classic pvp however if I could make a suggestion that would make it way more spectator friendly, if you could have nameplates on and have an addon like threatplates so we can see everything that’s going on much easier. That’s what they did back in 2019 during the cdl tournaments.

Awesome! Calandro is the one who organized them and puts together the brackets I would suggest messaging him. If you are an alliance player you can make a horde character on another server that in on the Whitemane cluster (like Bigglesworth or thunderfury) and message him that way. Hope that helps!

war vs shadowpriest is super bad for warrior. Mainly because shielded damage doesn't provide rage to the warrior. and ofc the big physical damage reduction from shadowform + the healing from vampiric embrace. A warrior would have to get super creative to kill a shadowpriest 1v1. That goes for most meleers tbh.

Yeah super tough match up. Unfortunately in vanilla WoW 1v1s are generally pretty tough for warriors, especially starting cold with no rage

Yeah people don't realize how good trispec dwarf priest is in vanilla. Makes me happy to see. I was big dueler on faerlina back in day and won like 5000 duels lost 12. Class is super good vs everyone

Correct, it will be part of the whitmenae cluster. I am originally from bigglesworth, never did a server transfer or anything. However if you making a completely new character it might be worth it to make it on whitemane just in case when they servers it full they may break up the clusters (which would be terrible but they might). However you have a main already on bigglesworth yeah you are good, you are part of the whitemane cluster

Very good against mages, warriors, other druids, decent against shamans. Rogues it can be good if you get the opener or if you play well enough and have rocket boots or skull. But it takes a lot of extra effort to make a druid good in vanilla for pvp. I have lots of videos on my channel dueling many of the best papers on whitemane

Good question, it may have been. I remember there was some sort of rule about not being able to use 20 minute + cooldowns. Tritus for sure didn't use it in these fights and that is probably why.

He is also a Scarab Lord :) Akaran is more of a PvE warrior for sure and was in his PvE spec. He subbed in last minute and that is greatly appreciated. You'd be surprised but a lot of players that are very good PvPs that were present still didn't volunteer because they were concerned about losing to Fatjaws in front of everyone. So I appreciate his willingness and courage :)

Seems like it, MVP is a crazy good hunter so to see him get shut down like that was both very surprising and impressive.

Also just for reference its the Spellstone that is taking all magical debuff off, it creates that green circle around the lock. And why would a SL lock not have SL up at all times, i saw some really weird things in this tourney that dont make much sense, esp if that paly winning 3 times lol. SL locks should always win btw

In vanilla you can't see other players talents. We think the lock was hiding that he was SL until the very end. And I don't think Tritus was expecting the damage Smog put out. Usually Tritis kicks everyones ass honestly

Sl locks do not stand a chance against a competent rogue without lap, unless they are orc. which has more to do with the race rather than the spec.

Late phase with Naxx gear warriors tend to be able to kill rogues pretty quick if they can get ahold of them. Players joke around that the only point of having warriors in dueling tournaments (because they won’t win) is to get rid of some of the rogues. Of course like any class, a very good player can still be a class that’s tough for them no problem.

Watching his duels in the final. He lets SW:P fall off repeatedly and never built SW stacks.

I started classic when it first launched with an undead fire mage, a year or so later I got bored and made a human pally, and let me tell you. I feel so bad for paladins in classic, mages are easy mode/God class and paladins are either godly heals, meme tank, and an auto attack engine. Reckoning build was fun for world pvp but impractical for ladder climbing and pve

Yeah it’s tough with vanilla, is there no balance to the classes. It can make things either very fun or some seem very unfair lol

A warrior must use FAP vs frost mage, otherwise there is now way. The game is not balanced but engi/pots/items, if allowed, balances it out if players are smart with it

It's been awhile since I have played rogue or warrior, but I hear a lot of rogues saying they get slapped by warriors. When we were putting together this tournament a lot of people said the only reason for warriors to participate was to eliminate rogues because it's tough for warriors to 1v1 most caster classes.

@@morphiousTV definitely can do some serious damage quick against rogues. And expert rogue will just outplay you with distance/crippling and a guarantee opener makes it much more difficult. This is just in my own experience while playing tho

@@derekolson5137 true I think a very good rogue can out play a warrior for sure. I think it's just the general sense that warriors can counter rogue. But like with any classes a very good player be beat their counter classs. Although I think paladin is the true rogue counter.

Sifu is undeniably a good PvPer, he did really well in this tournament. SP vs Warrior is for sure in the SP's favor. Generally in vanilla warriors have a pretty big disadvantage in a 1v1 setting. It seems to get better in later expansions with their ability to self heal

I don't wanna be rude but as 16 years druid player your fight was really bad. You didn't dispel cures, no any Rej( you should keep it up ALL time while fight vs lock). Your Bash 3 sec and you use NS+HT. What point is use bash in it??? Bash+ Reg that should be. You had boots. For what when you can use travel form. That item is not for druid lmao. oh yeah I botched the fight for sure, I think this was the first time I had logged in in a few weeks, it was rough. But still a fun time over all. There are better videos of my druid pvp on the channel if you are interested. 16 years of druid is some serious detection :) I can understand why, it has been my favorite class by far

People cry about shadowpriest is bad in raid but in pvp 1v1 is god. Warriors vs mage need pala freedom or fap sadly:/

I recommend getting a mouse with extra buttons if you don’t like using keyboard binding, and remember shift + bind gives your most used buttons a second option.

In general this is true, although engineering and pots helps a lot. Although there was restrictions at this tournament that prevented the use of some of those things.

The STV arena is a fun setting. Additionally it allows players from the same faction to fight each other without having to duel, so you don’t have to worry about the small dueling radius. It may seem small but the arena is pretty large, especially when only two players are fighting at a time.

Yup warriors slap rogues in vanilla, a lot of PvPers have joked in past tournaments that the only reason for warriors to participate is to get rid of the rogues
