Spoilers ahead 24:57 haven't seen the whole match yet, but at this point CVH could've charged the baza, and played volcano charger on hulcus and then swap in baza to kill gonta. Would've saved the apoc for later. Let's see if it matters :D Okay saving the swap meant a bigger turn next turn. I like it. Swap just allows for so many plays. Very grindy win but got there in the end that game 3. WFN just about makes it over the line game 4 :D A very exciting final! 51:05 That was a very nice play (Again with swap :D ) to get jaga out and still play pyro. Massive amount of pressure applied there. And that's gg. Well played to both. That was a long grind :D Very happy to see WFNStomp win! Thank you very much for this great content!

Fantastic video fellas! I will say in game 1 that Earthstomp wasn’t the best. If the deck had had any other decent 5 drop it would have won that first game because you could have play the Pyrofighter. Super excited for season 3!

I think in game 4, Logic Cube T3 was just the better play over BAT, seeing as you could have fetched a Volcano Charger to answer most T4 plays from Carl, as well as kill the pig with Belix. Not to mention if Carl decided to take a shield with Hulcus, you could have killed the Hulcus with Belix as well. Great games either way! Was rooting for Turboburn myself, but the victory was still earned for WFN.

It’s difficult as the line between optimal and correct play got blurry there. Knowing my hand/progressions is a tough read and BAT is almost always the correct play, as if pig keeps attacking he can let it continue to take shields as long as he’s comfortable with the exchange, and deal with it when he’s ready. Bat/skysword/apoc is almost always the line to play too, but this instance the what-if potential of cube into T4/T5 plays after dealing with pig might have been more optimal as I never presented that much pressure in my T3/4 with pig and hulcus durdle

@@EarthP0w3R Oh for sure, the Bat Skysword Apoc line wasn't by any means bad of course! It would have been a lot more solid though, had deck run enough meaningful shield triggers to make Skysword that much more dependable. It's just usually the correct play to kill the pig when it's completely free to do so, as you never know when a Wind-Axe or a Spiral Gate might come flying at the Belix anyway.

I had a feeling WFN was going to win. I thought LFN would pull off something insane in the finals to win. The Logic Cube VS BAT play was definitely a game defining play with Logic Cube allowing more options. Great matches from everyone, and I'm looking forward to season 3! Also, I wasn't expecting this match to drop on my birthday. Lol, happy birthday to me.

Thats awesome! Happy Birthday 🎉 And Yeah, the lines got blurry there, optimal vs correct can often be two different things and this seems like one. The what-ifs abound, but I think it’s hard to say that it was played incorrectly

@EarthP0w3R Thank you for the birthday wishes! Optimal versus correct is always a tricky discussion. Most of the time, it is obvious, like play whichever 3 drop you have. In this case, you have two strong options that can accomplish the same thing. Unless the line in hand was BAT -> Skyforce -> Vise, Logic Cube -> Charger would have been the safe play. Either way, it was correct at the time, and you guys played the matches well. The more important thing is that we are having this discussion for future games.

What an exciting duels, especially the third duel, and I thought that is the final duel, which made me wonder why do you continue to play. PS: I like the CVH's tattoo. 🙂

That was an AMAZING game! I loved it! Truly a fantastic finals! I am still not sold completely on Earthstomp, but that was so much fun to watch. I enjoyed the entire tournament and can't wait for season 3! One question/critique: Was there any merit in game 1 (I think it was game 1, the game where you swing with Earthstomp and Pyro) to just throwing Pyro and leaving Earthstomp untapped? You're still presenting lethal next turn, and you were never able to really play again after swinging with Earthstomp that turn.

Most local game stores (lgs) sell sleeves. Or just search card sleeves on google and pick your favorites (we prefer Dragon Shield and KMC brands)
