The expression on Stoick's face when he leaves the hall after telling Hiccup he's not his son makes him so much more real.
"Why can't she be all over this guy? he tamed the NIGHT MONKEY"🤣 this had me amd i was watching this reaction when everybody was sleeping so i had to hold it in🤣🤣

I love how he of course follows it up with a line that perfectly fits damn near any Jonah Hill character to. Simply "I could do that"
Here’s some facts on Toothless from the fandom for him The Night Fury was once considered to be one of the most mysterious and fearsome species of dragons. In fact, until Hiccup befriended Toothless, no one even knew what a Night Fury looked like because they preferred to attack at night, when their black scales allowed them to blend into the night sky, making them mostly invisible. Night Furies are classified as members of the Strike Class. They have the ability to "dive bomb," meaning that they can plummet from great heights, gaining speed as they continue downwards, then shoot a "plasma blast" at their target. For a long time, the only information that the Vikings had gathered on this rare dragon was the whistling sound of its speed cutting through the night sky, followed by a bright purple light, then finally a massive explosion. Physically, they are of medium build with jet black scales covering their body. Night Furies also possess retractable teeth (hence Toothless' name). Rather than firing like most dragons, Night Furies are able to shoot "plasma blasts" from their mouth. They are also extremely swift and use their speed and coloration to blend into the night sky. While they may initially seem like vicious, dangerous creatures, Hiccup's friendship with Toothless has increased our understanding of the true nature of the Night Fury. They are highly intelligent, loyal and fiercely protective of those they care about.

@Udeni Amarasinghe Ik right The night fury was considered the biggest and baddest cat in the sky and then this scrawny little kid comes along, traps him, accidentally disables him, then builds him a new tail then they become best friends and saviors of the village What a story

I love this film trilogy, it's funny, sad , cute, but also epic and amazing!
If this movie made you emotional, Kung Fu Panda will bring actual tears lmao I think it’s something you’ll appreciate more now versus if you’d seen it as a kid. Super incredible action and dialogue. All the casting and characters are perfection, and it’s also just an aesthetically BEAUTIFUL movie, definitely the most gorgeous Dreamworks film

One thing, i'm sad is not in more of httyd reactions, is the scene after Stoic says 'you're not my son'. The door being slammed but not staying shut. The instant realization and regret on his face. It's subtle but beautiful.
Oh, my guy- you **have** to do *Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron* . It’s beautiful animation, moving as a story, and the soundtrack goes HARD.

"in the matter of a day they colonise together" lmao, the implication is that he's been unconscious for a while. this all happened while he was recovering from nearly dying. great reaction though! the next movie is even better, you'll have a blast.
the huge dragon is called the Red Death, which is a variation of the Green Death in the books. this type of dragon however, just keeps growing bigger as it grows older, so the size that Hiccup fought is just above average for how big these things can get. if the movie had been set just a few more years later, they probably would have gotten out of the fight with worse than just a lost leg.
The fact that the animation gets better in every movie, it’s just beautiful
The other two movies are just as good, but a dreamworks classic to me are Spirit and The Prince of Egypt. The funny thing is you kept talking about Game of Thrones but Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, is in the second movie 😂

Rise of the Guardians is definitely one of the most underrated Dreamworks movies
the HTTYD series is my favorite series of all time. I love rewatching them all the time. you definitely need to at least review the 3 main movies. There are loads of side shows or mini 30 minute movies you should watch too, but at least watch the main three. It's so cool to see someone who has never watched the movies to watch them and see how absolutely amazing they are
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is a lesson in visual storytelling. It's beautiful and the soundtrack went hard.
My favorite Dreamworks movies, and some of my favorite animated movies by far: The Prince of Egypt, Megamind, and How to Train your Dragon.
HTTYD AND KUNG FU PANDA 2 of the most goated Dreamworks trilogy you gottta watch both
I cried when I saw the scene where Toothless helped him walk, gosh nothing in movies or series have ever touched me this much
How to Train Your Dragon trilogy is one of the DreamWorks' staple. But if you want the classical staple, you should check out The Prince of Egypt. It's a great classic 2D animated movie
Please please watch the two sequels
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron !!!!! Personally, it's my favourite movie of all time. It's so interesting to me that they can put so much human emotion into an animal that doesn't talk!
For DreamWorks you GOT TO DO El Dorado, Rise of the Guardians, Turbo, and Boss Baby.10000000% of these are their best. please watch these ones eventually, would love to see them. 😍😍
The second and third How to Train your Dragon, the Prince of Egypt, and The Road to El Dorado!!
Yes, the dragon cg in Game of Thrones is pretty sick, its kind of the saving grace of the show. it has its ups and down but the dragon scenes are always top notch
The music alone was just something beyond what anyone assumed it would be.
3:00 oh, he is so cute ^^ *1 sec later realizing Hiccup just freed a real killing machine* 👁👄👁
ive watched this movie upwards of fifty times, thats not counting all the reaction videos ive watched. I know every line, every movement, every song. Your reaction is my favourite of them all. Other than the actor comments (because i knew these voices before i knew them as actual people lmao) i relate to everything. im only halfway through and it warms my heart to see someone care for and enjoy my favourite movie. this is my first video of yours, but ive subscribed, you seem like a great dude, :)
As someone who has been watching the how to train your dragon movies and series for my whole life it’s just so crazy and funny to see the reaction because of how I already noticed these things and it’s just weirdly suprising for me to think other people haven’t seen it because watched it many times 😂😂 I grew up on this stuff
I fucking love this movie. Toothless is a mvp in this film. The whole trilogy is so good
One of the best film trilogies. These movies are just pure seratonin ❤️
Hell yeah what a ride! I love all things Dragons so this is no exception. You are gonna love the sequels to this one! Hope you get to Kung Fu Panda eventually, cuz that is a staple. But the other staples of Dreamworks (for me) is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Prince of Egypt. Beautiful movies.
I feel like all the react vids ive seen to httyd no one ever notices how Stoick stumbles from how emotionally distorted he was after what he said in anger after losing his wife and trying to protect his son from the same faith
I 100% recommended watching 2 and 3 of how to train your dragon, it’s the perfect trilogy.
How hype is this movie!!! Glad you enjoyed. Cant wait for Kung Fu Panda.
your reaction is much more entertaining than other channels where you dont just say the most cliche stuff or just sit there quietly not talking, keep it up
The Road to El Dorado and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron are great movies to watch I grew up on them and LOVED it
Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron, Prince of Egypt, and Road to El Dorado are three I would recommend, excellent story, music and animation for all three.
I just love the fact that Toothless is exactly like a cat. Although I read the books years ago and Toothless was actually one of the tiny little green lizard ones you see and I prefer the movie interpretation. I think it’s a very good way of trying to teach kids that anyone can have a pet maybe
Waiting for your reaction to the sequels as well This trilogy is epic

Yep Disney, but somehow it feels like a Dreamworks movie. Then again, for the longest time I thought Anastasia was a Disney movie. A surprisingly dark Disney movie. That may or may not have provided nightmare fuel when I was 6 years old. … Ok, better cut the tangent off now.

I gotta say that the title of this reaction has to be the best part “Dude Watches How to Train your Dragon for the first time” has to be the most old timey KZread thing that I’ve seen in a while lol
Kungfu Panda and the Prince of Egipt are a must watch. Together with the How to train your dragon trilogy (+and short movies! There are two of them).
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. It's a work of art. Beautiful story and every time you pause it could be its own painting.
16:43 That's the reason Toothless is really scary. For some reason, many people pay attention to his cute appearance, but completely forget his description from the book of dragons. He dropped to the ground a dragon that was 15-20 times bigger and heavier than him, who also stood firmly on all four legs, with one shot. If you start to look into the details, then you realize that Toothless is a damn scary combat unit.
Forbidden Friendship is one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen in a movie in general!
spirit: stallion of the cimarron, prince of egypt, and the road to el dorado are all fantastic dreamworks staples, but i'm surprised nobody's mentioned rise of the guardians, which is one of my favorites ! the bad guys is also the most recent dreamworks movie (aside from the upcoming puss in boots installment) and it's also great !
"DUDE! Look at the size of it's.. of its.. of its NECK!" 🤣🤣🤣 You earned a subscription!
I heard a theory that says Toothless was the one who cut Hiccup's leg. He had to reach him in time, and the only thing closer was his leg. Toothless did what he had to to save Hiccup.
@Fijxnn

That's a pretty good theory and makes the most sense.
"I thought he was supposed to be all cutesy" He is. He's just saying "don't shoot me out of the damn sky ever again" I mean how would you feel if you got shot out of the sky
also, hiccup wasnt asleep for just a night 💀 he was out for probably a couple weeks
when you called toothless a night monkey i was dying 😂
You really should watch the other two. It's such an amazing trilogy with lots of epic scenes
You NEED to watch the next movies for this series they are amazing! And they all get really cool glow ups. And even more awesome dragon designs and the graphics get even better.
"Nigthfury I was calling it night monkey" made me cackle so hard XD instant sub
You need to watch 'The Prince of Egypt'. It's one of my all time favorites
Rise of the Guardians has got to be the most underrated Dreamworks film!
18:00 you cant beat up a handycapped person got me 😂
Love this trilogy, great reaction hope you continue with the rest they only get better.
Love this movie. Great video! I subscribed :D
You should definitely watch at least the first episode of Game of Thrones. However, the flight in this movie and the next are kind of unparalleled, imo.
How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda are both solid trilogies. If you want to look into some of their older 2D stuff, then The Road to El Dorado is good, but The Prince of Egypt is phenomenal
OMG I Love that your Favorite is "Megamind". It was ROBBED of an Oscar Nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.
Definitely finish the other 2 :) this is by far one of the best animated series ever!
You recognizing everyone's voices is hilarious XD
Looking forward to you seeing the rest of the series. In my opinion, HTTYD is one of very few trilogies where every movie is good.
Great reaction! Also your comment at the end about how they immediately colonized together successfully, actually there is a TV show called Riders of Berk that shows it wasn’t a smooth transition at all. It’s definitely not as good as the movies but it’s a cute show haha Anyways great reaction!
Bro… within the first 5mins I subbed (first time viewer). I love your personality. I look forward to checking out your older content.
the fact that you recounted the (I'd say) mediocre dreamworks movies as the ones you've seen tells me there will be some nice surprises for you :D
A staple for dream works is Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron, it is underrated because it came out early and the animation is gorgeous and captures something real. It’s not as popular because it’s more understood when watched by older audiences, so I definitely recommend it
NIGHTMONKEY
There is also a series of How To Train your Dragon over the edge! I totally recommend it 😁
this is my favorite movie and franchise of all time
Idk if there’s ever been a time where I watch this movie, and didn’t cry… I LOVE this movie soooo much!!! Definitely my favorite trilogy!
tell me why I cackled at "night monkey" XD
Watching him go from “I was hoping for some king fu” and into “man I wanna train my own dragon!”
You need to watch the other movies of this saga. How to train your dragon is a MUST WATCH. All the movies are great.
Prince of Egypt is absolutely stunning and SO EPIC!!! My whole family is atheist and its one of our favorite movies of all time, so you definitely don't need to be a religious person to enjoy it.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is my new favorite Dreamworks film. You don’t even need to see the first Puss in Boots movie. It totally blew me away. If you don’t see it in theaters, then be sure to catch it as soon as it comes to video/streaming.
I’ve just realized that one of the night fury’s advantage is blending in during night but pretty much all of his fights with hiccup were during the day. He didn’t take advantage of that at all
"he tamed the night moneky" that got me rolling on the floor.
OMG HOW HAVE YOU NOT WATCHED THIS YET LIKE OMG THIS MOVIE IS SOOO AMAZING I C ANT EVEN- I LOVE SO MUCHHH
i love your reaction :D I look forward to your next response on to the next one episode. :D
also: toothless's tail piece was taken off my hiccup's net when he caught him. he was flying just fine before
My absolute favorite series! I also love the Netflix series on this! The Race to Dragon's Edge! Gives story between the 2nd and 3rd movies I believe? Fills in those years!
Number 1 favourite Dreamworks movie right here. It's too perfect. I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
The third one honestly made me sob it’s so good and the nostalgia was wild
I saw this movie in theaters. It was pretty cool. I’m so glad you enjoyed this movie and I really hope you react to Game of Thrones! I think you’d enjoy it
Did you know that when Hiccup is chosen to kill the monsterous nightmare astrid in the background says f*ck it.
I have a couple of movie recommendations for you: The Iron Giant; The Quest for Camelot; The Secret of Nimh. I don’t think any of them are from dreamworks but they are all amazing!!
I can’t believe you didn’t talk about the MUSIC, AHH ITS GODLY
Toothless is both adorable and terrifying 😂they aren’t mutually exclusive things ❤❤❤
Top tier animated franchise
Bro this guy has the most purest adorable reactions.
UP is the animated movie that I would anyone advise to watch. So funny, endearing, beautiful introduction to the protagonist's life story, adventurous and engaging.
I wanted to share 3 quick fun facts about this movie and answer your question. Yes, Hiccup is the reason why Toothless couldn't fly after he got shot down. Since Toothless's tail fins let him balance and steer he originally had two fins. Somehow the rope or something from Hiccup's trap cut off one of Toothless's tail. Fun Facts: 1. The little green dragons, The Terrible Terrors were voiced by a dog, I don't remember the dog's name but he and his owner got payed a lot of money. Fun Facts: 2. The scene where Hiccup touches Toothless has a glitch in it. Toothless hesitating for a second was a glitch in the animation, but the crew loved how it looked so they kept it in. Fun Facts: 3. The movie was very loosely based on a book series. The book series is more targeted towards kids, but they are still entraining and creative books.
