It's a rural school in Western Kentucky. Most schools in their region are pretty small and don't have much of a talent pool, hence you get a bunch of small white kids. The Paducah and Hopkinsville schools are close by though and will usually have some solid bigs, and they beat Louisville Ballard this year who always has a lot of size and talent. Got beat pretty handily by Lexington Catholic and North Oldham though who are top 5 teams in Kentucky. Looking at the schedule Lyon County is a pretty good team this year and should make the state tournament, but doubtful that they win it. They are probably a fringe top 10 team in Kentucky and would be around a top 25 team in a lot of states, but they are no where near national level competitively.

I just checked and he’s not even ranked that’s some disrespect
I thought you could only play varsity ball for 4 years.
He doesn't deserve to break the record dude literally had 2 extra years to do it
I GO TO CRITTENDEN AND LYON COUNTY IS GOOD AT EVERYTHING WE ALWAYS GO AGAINEST THEM AND LOOSE NOT IN GIRLS BB THOUGH😂 AND HE HAS 17 D1 offers rn
so... i never heard of him, yet we heard of the ball brothers, bronny, bryce, zion, morant, lebron and 100 others before they turned 18 shows you that scoring alot at high % whilst following plays and playing teamball doesnt give you credit.
been ball hoggin since 13😤

Not sure if you don't understand basketball or math, but averaging 30 pts on over 50% fg isn't ball hogging.

Of course now that you have jinxed him with this video he’ll probably break his leg and have to sit out his senior year.
I though you were only allowed to play 4 years of high school ball
I know himmmmmm

How do you play highschool basketball if you're not in H.S?
@TheRoShamBo2328
Жыл бұрын
@@mikerobinson6969 a lot of schools in Kentucky do it, especially rural schools like Lyon County. Had to look it up, but there are less than 9K people in Lyon County, which makes Lyon County High a very small school with only 259 total students from grades 9-12. So when you consider that there are only 130 boys give or take to compete against, if you're already a baller at 13 you could play up.
How many assists per game? I wanna know what that average is.
Since when does 7th graders get to play basketball in HighSchool
Bro plz go to UNC...
Should that really count tho… in 7th and 8th grade, ur in middle school,, not HS… props to kid for getting buckets..!! But those two years shouldn’t count
So this kid was averaging 20 as a a 7th grader for his varsity high school team?
Why does every defender in the clip look like they aren't even 6 foot tall? Does he ever play any real competition?
@TheRoShamBo2328

We'll see if UK take him
How is that fair if he got 2 full extra season then the guy from the 60s like you had to play grad schoolers in grad school
Sorry… records shouldn’t belong to players with 6 years of stats in high school. High school is 4 years. That’s it. That’s all. No more than 4 years.
Can someone explain to me how a 7th grader can play varsity HIGH SCHOOL basketball? Don't you have to go to high school to play in high school?
Not hating but shouldn't that be for his actual highschool eligible years...
