"What's Up with Duck Harbor" is a Herring River Restoration Project video, presented by Friends of Herring River and produced by Solano Film Collective with funds from Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration and National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. Video released in November 2023.
Herring River Restoration Project, co-owned by the Town of Wellfleet and National Park Service, seeks to restore natural tidal flow across a 1,000 acre estuary to rectify native salt marsh and habitat and water quality degradation. Removal of tidal flow impediments and installation of infrastructure is pursuant to Adaptive Management approach.
