    Wow I'm blown away at the fact that you said it's not very flickable. I beg to differ, I've been on tons of sport bikes I grew up on Japanese bikes, I've had many types of bikes including the RSV4, this is the best handling motorcycle I have ever owned. I see you're not running the super course SP a taller tire, the taller tire causes you to drop into turns far better than a flatter tire, it looks to me like you're running a flatter type tire, that will take the flick ability away. People need to learn that the type of tire you run also has everything to do with your cornering ability. And the flicability.

    Hey! Thanks for your observation. Not saying you’re incorrect but do keep in mind this is just from my perspective. I had the 2020 RSV4 1100 Factory and it just felt way more nimble than the Ducati - even during the time I had the 60 tall tire SPs on the Ducati..

  • @element7us

    @element7us

    Mark I agree with you. The Ducati is definitely the more agile of the two especially with the SP tires. One thing I always recommend to anyone is to get the suspension professionally tuned. This in my opinion is the best mod anyone can do to affect the handling of the bike.

    @@TrafficNoJoy did you ever try lowering the front 2-5mm and raising the rear similarly that would cure the issue of turning in. It does take a bit of time ride and repeat til ya find the sweet spot. Also the choice of certain tire profiles along with tweaking the width. Picking a similar road or going to the track so that the variable is similar and you should be able to feel it but riding consistently is key to keep variables down and repeat......

    @@DAVIDEPWDD I agree with you for sure there’s a few things you can do like you mentioned to improve handling. At this point I set everything stock with the same exact tires I run on all of my bikes and compare. Thanks for your input for sure ! ✌️

    Videos like this give me the itch to ride again! It's been roughly 8 years! I used to own a 2013 1199S in the Arctic White color before life circumstances forced me to sell it. I had a dark tinted windscreen from Memphis Shades along with a ton of carbon fiber parts. The base paint was a glossy pearly white color with flecks of silver metallic in the paint. In the sunlight, it sparkled like freshly fallen snow. Hope to get a V4S in the next couple of years. If they made one in that same Arctic White color, it'd be gorgeous!

    Great video. I just bought a 2020 V4s and I already own a 2016 R1M. And honestly the Ducati is way easier to daily than the R1M. The throttle is easy to control and it gets much better gas mileage. Neither are made for commuting so you really can’t complain, but I do the the Ducati is easier.

Really like watching your video's the one i like about you is you don't ride like an idiot like so many other guy's on their bike's weaving in and out of traffic or reving their bike's to it's rev limiter i can't stand that and it can't be good to the motor i can understand if your riding and you take it to the rev limiter but not on purpose like so many of these guy's showing off at a light or just doing it on purpose. I've been riding for 35yrs and i said in another video of yours, you are someone i would ride with cause you seem like you take your riding so serious and do do stupid shit on the road like so many other guy's do and act like the streets are a race track. Thanks for the video ride safe buddy. God Bless.

    8:39 nope mate, that is the classic misconception of the automotive world. Is like to say that Maserati or Alfa Romeo as part of the Stellantis Group are enginereed by americans and french and share the same brakes of a Lancia. Companies that are part of a group have their own tax reasons and their own capital, it is not an obligation to share technologies etc, you just have to make a profit and adhere to the guidelines in terms of governance systems, compliance and so no. Then you are completely independent and you only stay in the group if you make a profit. Lamborghini and Ducati are totally developed and designed by Italians in Italy both for electronics, engineering and so on. Having said that, the situation about Lambo is a bit different cause they share some parts with AUDI and Porsche for obvius cost reason cause they both produce cars. Ducati in the VW Group is the only motorcycle company, so Ducati build and develop the products from its R&D Depts e Style Center. How do I know that? Come here in Borgo Panigale :)

    Ergonomics will vary from rider to rider. What is comfortable for me may be uncomfortable for you. Best bet is to sit on these bikes. I like the ergo's on the R1 the most since I am a bigger rider. 6'2 240lbs. The Ducati is also great for tall riders. The S1K for me was a more upright seating position but I felt more cramped since I have longer arms. Again, these bikes are out on most dealers so you should sit on them before getting it. But I did it cuz I had two bikes that and a S1000RR. Compared to the Panigale the Beamer feels like a Cadillac so comfortable and it has a friggin fuel gauge LoL. But still, at the end of the day I would take the V4 Ducati’s just have so much character and presence. Thanks for the input after all that I will most likely still cop the V4 my only gripe was the heat and downward seating position.

    One exhaust points at your rear wheel, is that normal? Because the right side lifts upwards and away from bike.

    @@TrafficNoJoy that’s very interesting. This is a dream bike of mine, I’ve held back from buying one because I’m relocating to a different country, sell everything rebuy it there. Anyways, beautiful bike, did you notice any issues on your rear tire? As in excessive wear or heat? My Raven r6 has a 2bros black series carbon, and my 07 r6 has a straight pipe 😆 😂 cbr 1100 blackbird Factory exhaust…. But noticed the weight was very bad and poorly constructed with center stand built in. 😣

    @@ClassyLyfeStylellc zero issues with my Ducati Panigale. It’s also cool cus Ducati offers an “ever ride program” where it extends its warranty for a maximum of three years after your factory two year warranty is finished. Look into it. Ducati is one of the best Superbikes I’ve owned. Definitely a show stopper. I also like yamaha r1; rsv4, S1K RR. Had all of them as well.
