The biggest compliment you gave is when you suddenly stopped talking after your 1st turning in the V2 you obviously felt what its all (Ducati) about...enjoying the ride.

I've seen loads of time your Panigale 1199 test ride video because I've just bought one of them :D how that motorcycle compares to these newer models, now that you have ridden both?

Stop lugging along in 3rd gear. Nice video by the way. I love my V2, so much fun to ride, especially up in the mountains where I am!

I absolutely LOVE my V4. But the heat is just crazy. I got hardcore bad burns on my calves the day I collected it because I went straight into a 3 hour round trip from the dealership, wearing jeans. The hot air scorched me, I had deep burns, blisters lasted about 2 weeks and oozed daily. Probably should have gone to the Dr... It's a good way to make sure you always wear the right gear, because If you don't, it cooks you alive.

I have a 939 and a V4s 25th Anniversario. The V4s will eat you alive. I use the 939 for local fun and V4s for getting out. Pure adrenaline rush. If you want torque, drop into race mode.

The V2 also has self cancelling indicators if you have a proper look.

Great video ! I own the V2, was thinking of moving to the V4 for more power and a bit more noise. Would you say the V4 is louder? I like the stock sound on my V2 but a bit more noise would be nice. Anyway, looking forward to more content from you, I subscribed :)

I test ridden both, and stock v4 was louder and had more bass than stock v2

Thanks for subscribing ☺️. I’d say the V4 was noticeably louder (even with stock system). Aftermarket system would be louder, but I honestly don’t think you’d need one on a V4

@Rider_Tom only very minor issues from previous owner from neglect. Only thing I miss is that raw v2 engine with those 2 massive pistons. Only put 350 km on my new v4 but Holy hell is it amazing. Still miss my 899 but I love this v4

Hey brother, new subscriber, currently looking into purchasing a panigale v2 vs v4. I currently got Z H2 SE, a Sportster S and a TNT135 in the stable and I’m looking to add a sportsbike into it.

I agree that the v2 is way more demanding on the your body, i've noticed it (Why I have a v2 and s1000rr) v4 is much more comfortable, even though it is a little quicker on the top end. But I won't give the v2 away for lower horses, feels a lot like the CBR 1000rr, not triple 'r'.

The L-twin and inline 4 have very different character you are right. I bought my Ducati 2021 and BMW 2022, the feel when you open the throttle on the Panigale is something special especially with the Akropovich underbelly full titanium (I had a MIVV Delta Race before) and the mid RPM crackles and pops are just insane also I found that with AK tune the pops on engine braking does not happen so much compared to Brentune or UpMap. And the BMW is completely stock, I feel its so nice to have a fast bike like s1000rr but at the same time can take it to ride for hours with many nice features to make the ride more comfortable. It is really too perfect of a machine I think that is where it get sometimes criticized. @@Rider_Tom

@@udontknowme1654 Hi, the high definitely has to do with it, I have very long arms too. And low speeds v4 turns very comfortably while the v2 stutters a lot. The gearing is best on v2 for city riding because you can go through them, v4 ride one gear all day long 🤣 With the V4S I rode in Singapore (incredibly hot!) During day time 36+ degrees every day and humid. The bike is wider, more towards the s1000rr, so that make longer rides better. V2 really roast your legs with the narrow squeeze.

Kawasaki sound/engine in v2 will be legendary

I had the exact bike s1000rr, wanted to go for a v4, forget the Ducati and try the Aprilia RS660 or RSV4

You should try Supersport S, that's the hottest Ducati，It becomes unbearable after running for a while

@@BrewsAndBraaps Front Brake master cylinder leaked causing near to no bite $3000+ job without a warranty, quick shifter can't properly shift from first to 2nd or 2nd to first as you see in the video, EVAP canister being saturated from general refueling on all V4 Multistradas etc...

@@BrewsAndBraaps Welp when you do a total of 100 miles each year of course you'll never see the issues of the bikes. I did 17k miles on my Multistrada last year, got a good taste of Ducati reliability and their piss poor service centers.

@@Waldo1122 well sorry to hear about your poor experience. I’m sure that’s truly frustrating. I’m just tired of the brand getting a bad name based on people who haven’t had any first hand experience. We all know these bikes are great and every manufacture has their flaws. Multistrada is the the best bike in class, in my opinion.

Yes its a small bike, its two cylinders period, its small , a 650 two cyl and a 600 4 cyl are two diff worlds, got it ? Dont get fooled by the cc’s lil guy
