Message me and I'll message you back. This is a short I put together after my trip to the Canary Islands in Spain to ride the new Ducati Multistrada 950. This is the first video I've ever made so it's only going to get better from here. I produced, shot, directed and edited this video all myself and with a little help from my friends and my very supportive wife. Hit me up on Instagram Yo @Steve_Kamrad. All the in helmet footage was done with a Sena 10c. tinyurl.com/zpkdz8y . It worked pretty great. Other than that I used a sena prism mounted on another bike and my Panasonic g85 which is a super tight camera for the price. Ducati supplied the additional footage with drone shots. I edited everything in FCPX on a brand new Mac book pro. I learned how to edit on Lynda.com. Yes my Oakley's are purple. Get over it.

    Good review, and I liked the drone footage, that's hard to do when you're doing everything else. I rode this bike today and really enjoyed it, I put it up there with the GS.

    Hi ! Iwould like to buy this bike in the next future. The problem is i like go off road, not hard clear, buti like it so much. approximately i am on road 80% of the year, the rest of the time in off road. Currently I have an old aprilia etv 1000 caponord (175.000km) and with it i drove i some off road pass between Italy and France like Jafferau, Parpaillon and Via del Sale. As I could be with this multistrada 950? THX

    Ale hey man. This bike will be more than enough to handle some light to medium hard off-road. I'd go so far as to say it can handle some pretty gnarly terrain but that will depend on tire choice. On road it's a really great bike. The transmission is very good and worth noting as well. Let me know how it works out if you get one or have any other questions. Thanks.

    Thank you so much for your answer!! I tried this bike in a test drive last year, but unfortunatelly only for 30 minutes and without the possibility to try it in off-road.

    Ha. Julia! I've been reading her articles for years! She's a terrific writer! This is going to be a hard choice between the 950 and a 1200gs I've been eyeballing for a while. I'm on the shorter side and could never consider the Multistrada before. You still get a lot more with the BMW, cruise control, clutches shifting, more advanced electronic suspension. But the 950 does have that 19" wheel which should make it a good trail bike while its older sister would be best described as passable with the 17" tire. And the 950 is quite a bit less expensive. Which do you think would be a better dirt bike the Ducat Desert Sled or this 950 Multistrada?

  • @steve_kamrad5216

    @steve_kamrad5216

    7 жыл бұрын

    Newmans_Own you're asking the right questions. dirt bike? the desert sled for sure. I haven't riden one yet but I have put about 750 miles on a regular Ducati scrambler. they are very easy to ride off road. the 950 will be easier to handle than 1200gs and much less expensive. the 1200GSA is better when you push it really hard off road but it gets hand quickly and falls over on its cylinder head. I don't think heated grips are standard on any bikes and a aftermarket cruise control gadget will be cheaper than a bmw. how hard will you be pushing off road?
