Simple and clean is actually another version of hikari, atleast in japanese. The japanese simple and clean is a remix of hikari. For english, it was completely given different lyrics. Hence everytime, hikari IS being used again. But with different lyrics. Listen to the japanese simple and clean, it is also called hikari.

If you see what games use this opening it’s all the games that take place after KH1 before KH3 in the timeline so sadly we might never hear it used again

it’s been about 9 years since i first played kh. man time flies. to this day, i haven’t listened to a song that has this much emotion. even some deep kpop songs, none got to this level on this kind of meaning. i remember the first time i opened the game, and looked at the disc i thought it was so pretty. once i put it into my ps2 and let the song play i was put into a trance like state. her voice is so beautiful. i actually would restart my ps2 just to listen to the song again and again. whenever i play even now on that same ps2, with the same controller, on the same tv, i still do listen to it on repeat. i can listen to this song in any mood and interpret it differently. when im feeling happy and euphoric, i feel its a love song saying someone is your safe space. when im sad i feel like it’s a song saying you’re only you when you are with this person, so your happiness is dependent on them. when im confused or scared i feel like it’s meaning you’re afraid of losing someone because they let all your fears wash away and you don’t want them back. it changes so much, there aren’t many songs that can do that to a person

im working on one right now :) The thing about these remixes is their easy to make but take forever to supplement all of the effects and generations. I will say, the guy who made this did a great job with the filters and distortion.

honestly, my favorite remix of the song. clouds dissipate in my mind when I hear this.

I just simply LOVE this song. It's the first song I listen ta ta start my day, and its also the last son. I feel at peace with myself.

17 years of playing the KH series. I played KH1 when I was 4, I'm 21 now, and it's insane that this series can just have a gentle hold on your heart, enough that no matter how long you're with it, you'll never get tired of it.
