I had a love and hate relationship with my thunder. One the one hand it was a nice ride below 30mph. Above that and it gets sketchy plus you can react quick to hazards such as gophers and motorist that pull out infront if you. This seems the wheels have more surface area which might allow quicker stopping times.

On their website says *max speed 55mph ( for USA limited to15mph) vie some sort of wire , can you take that wire away so you can use the full potential of the scooter

Yes. It's usually a grey wire that can just be unplugged.

Please tell your opinion - how to lift this thing? I have stairs in my home (1 meter long), so I lift my ultra to pass it. But X is much heavier and absolutely has no handles...

in one of the other reviews of this model, the driver said he hit 53 mph. Seems like a thrill...but scary as hell. Not sure I could get up the nerve to go that fast ....unless I had wide open street with no cars/people around. Can you imagine if your typical Birds or Lime's had that kind of speed....how many deaths we'd have reported everyday?!

M. Nurhaikal same as Thunder. Don’t think the X will be much faster, because it’s just a bit more powerful yet much heavier.

im approved for 4k with the financing option.. the more reasons i think of why not to get one, the more reasons i come up with to get one.

It's been about close to a month having the X, I was shock the front speed control went out on me less then a week, but minimotorsusa.com with their outstanding service send me a new one in 3 days, I also like to point out the steering dampener is great, but I find it hard to move the scooter around tight spaces due to limited turn radius, till I go on a full speed race day, I find the X is solid enough that I don't need it for regular daily riding. The rang on this thing is unreal! attach my dog trailer above 85lb when on a 54 mile ride with only a 30 min charge in-between, I came home with half of the battery left. I'm deciding between the DT X and DT Thunder. You ever try to transport the X inside your car? Is it a pain in the ass because the X is very heavy to move around?

Need for Speed

speed limiting wire in the usa giving a MAX speed of 15mph makes all these more powerfull scooters pretty much over priced and near useless for commuting. Im not interested in going 50mph (prob not even over 30 as a max) but limiting it to 15mph just ruins it for me on most of these high end powerful scooters.

It’s so easy to remove the limiting wire there are plenty of videos that shows how to do it. It’s not rocket science.

да потому что колеса большие и мощность получается будет при разгоне меньше чем на дуалтроне тандер)) вот максималка будет уже побольше...
