Great development work! Trials tires are good and do less trail damage. Hopefully the mounting lugs forces on the frame will not be over-stressed from the added battery weight and increased bending moment loading (i.e. the increased length of structure acts to increase mounting lug load). Is there a way you can reinforce the lugs before they may break? Doing so now might prevent major damage that is hard to fix. You can minimize the load by not being seated during a jump or traversing chunky, rough terrain. Perhaps you can produce more of these and sell a upgrade kit.

Very cool project and modification. I also like the riding terrain. Curious if you have problems with getting flats in the desert. I occasionally do some desert riding and I get thorns in my tires all the time.

When I have a lot of rides in the desert I usually put a mousse flat insert in the tire so it's no tube just a foam insert But when I ride on the street I put the tubes back on because those don't like to be those mooses don't like to be on the street

impressive. you should patent that geometry and send out some mass produced pieces to surron parts dealers!

Patenting is only possible when not shared in public before. Just make it open source.

really cool, hope to do the same idea. one critique is you need to learn to weld better, if you are doing jumps like that those welds will break.

You should never jump a surron , the suspension doesn't hold up, I broke mine , the welds still hold .. ugly welds always hold ....

Excellent. I do woods riding and would love this mod. I have two batteries. How'z about making me a bracket, let me know how much dough? I should know this, but do you have stock controller? Also, are you wiring the two batteries together without a major mod?

Yeah stock controller , no major wiring , if I sell the surron I'll sell you my rack but to make another one, it's complicated if you are not in town ..

Amazing work! You should refine this design and out it into production in China, let them handle the logistics too... A LOT of people would purchase this if you was to take it to market... I've wanted to learn how to weld for sometime now... A project like this is making me want to 'pull the trigger'... #RangeAnxietyIsREAL

Parallel hook up with the y splitter equalize the voltages once they're close enough you just connect them and then they charge together just from one charging port because the bike is specially designed so it can recharge on engine brake

you should sell this as a retrofit kit. doubling the battery capacity allows you to draw more amps with less sag. I know the feeling of endless range and power all too well with my direct drive ebike and multiple bad quality ebay ebike packs.

No plans or measurements ...I just sent and welded as I went along

Now put two 72v 60ah batteries in there lolol..... UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAA!!!!

@@TheCrazyRomanian Dont forget another 2500 for a new controller and motor. then you'll need new suspension and new brakes. you'll also want a new swingarm and a new set of wheels. It doesn't end until there is nothing left but the frame, but of course you could powder coat that too. 🤣🤣

Sorry man I don't do this custom work for people because financially is not worth it, I cannot make it viable This is a dude yourself kind of a thing where your time is free The other charge for your time is not worth it
