ceramic brake pads with floating vented front disc was the only combination of brake formula that I've ever used and had an effective long lasting result when riding electric bikes. this combination makes the brakes feel as effective and efficient as a motocross bike(or dirt bike as you call it in the states). I built an off road ebike 13 years ago and ran it to work 5 days a week for three years, this said you can imagine how much I learned and experimented over the three years until finally I got it nailed😉. Great vid I'd love to have the area and terrain to play like you have. have fun dude enjoyed watching this adventure. Russell from UK

Hey, I think the cutoff your experiencing when your battery is getting low is the controller's over current protection. Power = Volts x Amps, as the battery voltage drops, the motor current has to increase to provide the Set Power on your controller. Either try decreasing your Motor Phase Amps on your controller or decrease the Max Power. Here is an comparison for the current required to achieve 10 000W at different voltages: (Battery amps and not Motor Phase Amps, Phase Amps can be over 3 times Battery Amps) 10 000W = 84V x 119A 10 000W = 72V x 139A 10 000W = 60V x 167A Try decreasing your phase amps to 400A and try it again when your battery voltage is about 65V to see if it still cutoff. To much Phase Amps is what can fry your motor. Decreasing Phase Amps a bit on your controller and keeping the same Max Power will not be that much noticeable above half battery, however you will loose some torque on take off when the battery drops below half battery, but you will increase your range and reduce the motor temperature while prolonging motor life. Cheers Dan

Thanks for the detailed comment man, I had a feeling this was the exact issue. I’m going to drop the phase amps to 400 from 430 and see if that fixes it. Happy riding man!

Ac motor?? dc to inverter to ac ?? as the motor turns slower while being put under the same amount of resistance less of the motor gets more of the heat - the motor is a electric field expanding and collapsing less volts less expansion smaller collapse a battery has current limits the controller produces the ac wave either the controller is limiting or the controller is failing to maintain the drive wave less volts less expansion less collapse , not sure how this bike works - im looking at buying one

that power cutting off is probably the voltage cut off protection. Battery low, voltage low and when u gun it the voltage sags tripping of that low voltage cut off protection. Lithium batteries are very finicky, they like to stay within a certain range voltage wise. Not too high and not too low. Outside its happy range, you stress the battery and it will start to degrade exponentially faster. Thats why people say don't charge to 100% all the time and also don't take it to 0% all the time. Between around 85% and around 50%, if you keep it there most of the time you will get a battery that will last thousands and thousands of cycles

😆 I like the idea, I’ll take it into consideration. I think I saw a guy do an extreme range test cruising at 15ish. Ultimately that is the real key to the longest range, just go 15mph steady and have the most boring time of your life haha. I’m working on a new top speed video at the moment, having struggles getting over 70

I'd recommend a Maine Coon cat or a Nowegian forest cat. You know they're fluffy and cute. If you want 'edgy' dark and batman like: you ought to have a physique with latissimus dorsaii and medial deltoids to get that v-shape. Superhero physiques deserve superhero bikes. You are clearly that of a long distance runner type so have some sensual and softness to it and put some cat or doggo stuff on it to suit your sensitive side and looks. Make sense? blows my mind how people perceive battery capacity. i like my battery to be at least 3kwhr per 100lbs of vehicle. I used to run a 72v 70ah. a battery just over 5kwhr and it still wasn't enough range for me to be happy. Especially with surrons. it seems like 10% of the possible range is eaten up by the inefficient dual drive chain. but it's whatever. still love the surron lol

@@JuicedJoyrides I can see that. I used an extremely loose (55hz) belt to help with some of the loss. With the weight of the battery it was pretty heavy. I wanna say at least 180 pounds. I took off all components that werent needed like the tilt sensor, 12v inverter, the turn key ignition, the locking mechanisms for the lid and the lid itself, all the plastic trimmings, etc. everything bare bones. I even lost 30 pounds to compensate for the extra weight. eventually me and the bike both weighed 180ish pounds lol. but it was super fun. managed to get a nuc24f and blasted my way to 85mph before my motor melted lol
