awesome video!! well done. Id like to know if using a dual input with a nipple output is better than a dual input using 3 set screws and wire as the output makes a difference CONSIDERING a set screw barely makes contact with the dual inputs output "nipple" whereas it digs into bare wire.

Great video man. Im kinda confused though. At the end with the results, less amperage made more pwer?! Also, on a load of 1500 to 5000rms, 100 rms seems negligible, to me. I wonder how it would perform on smaller amps. Would 500 become 600? Would even a 100rms channel jump to 150? Thanks man

Fuse rating is to protect the wire itself and your electrical system itself, not the amp... Another 300a fuse on a second run will be fine for you. The recommended number is what they are saying the max draw should be for the amp without popping the fuse. The fuse is recommended incase the wire is somehow grounded out to prevent a 🔥

The difference shows up more with a dynamic load on a hot day outside. So what was simulated here provide small gain, but it's even further realized when other variables like heat and resistance are factors. Daily drivers shouldn't stress. But an extra 100 watts could be the difference between a tie and winning a trophy on show day! Great unbiased video!

Well besides the fact that there probably isnt a wire ferrule in that whole building , the conductivity of aluminum is %60 of the conductivity of copper. And that number drops to about %50 during high heat situations like car shows and long demos which probably wouldnt show up in this type of test. Copper also loses conductivity in high heat situations but at a lower rate.

I'd pay that price if I were still competing in dB Drag. That power increase can equate to a few more tenths of a dB, which can be the difference between 1st and 2nd place.

Anybody running this amplifier, or one of this size, should have an upgraded electrical system with an extra battery (or two) in the rear of the vehicle. The wire from the rear battery to the amplifier should never be 20ft in length or anywhere close to that. If you're only running like a 1500w amp then you shouldn't ever need dual inputs anyways.

Sundown Audio unofficial Neat. I Never plan on running a single amp over 2k. Was looking at 2k to 2.5k. I apologize for assuming this was an informational video on dual inputs and not the amp.....I only have 3 group34’s under the hood since there is no room in the back and I don’t feel like adding a battery disconnects because I have batteries back there. I also upgraded the factory dual alternators . Sorry I said 20 it is less maybe. Truck is only 20 feet bumper to bumper. And yes the subwoofers and amplifier for it is way in the back by the tailgate under the canopy. I was using your 1/0 300A install kit size which I find just found interesting because I need 2/0 at that length for 300A and I was actually wondering if I should get two kits or just buy 2/0 which I’ll probably still run dual. But thank you for helping me decide.

Your comment is not accurate. Anybody running this amplifier, or one of this size, should have an upgraded electrical system with an extra battery (or two) in the rear of the vehicle. If not then you're doing it wrong. Also if you're too cheap to upgrade your electrical properly then you're too cheap to even own this amp and definitely too cheap to use multiple long runs of wire from the front of your car. Your entire theory is invalid.
