I think Future Nostalgia was a different "pop" album. It sounds very funky like in the 80's, but very new at the same time. Summing up, a pop album that really deserves that attention. Well done, Dua Lips and the team behind her!

Somehow I really like singers with very different speaking and singing voices. I especially like women who sound really sweet and girly when they speak, but sound like vocal divas when they sing (i.e. Dua Lipa, Lana del Rey, among others). I would've added Lady Gaga to the list. She has a soft speaking voice, but powerful vocals. However, I don't like her anymore due to her being too fake and full of herself. I actually liked her more during her weird meat dress days.

Its very rare for a album like that where all the songs on there couldve been singles and go straight to number one. Future Nostalgia, Folklore , After Hours, and Fine Line for me were the albums that didn't have any skips or boring songs. Music thrived during the pandemic and these albums showed it. So well deserved amongst some very strong competition. I personally feel, that Dua Lipa literally solely saved positivity in 2020 by creating and launching that album. It certainly was the best thing to come out of that horrid year. So, my 2020 mood is entirely indebted to your amazing craft and vibes, Lady Lipa !! You created an amazing album helping through some difficult times !!!

very true. I really liked this. It felt tasteful and sophisticated. Sadly this year's award show was a ratings disaster so the Grammys will likely view anything they did this year as something that needs to be changed.

@@AnggaSteve I’m not sure about the general hate? I didn’t know it was a thing because I’m one of the gays! Hahahah. But to be fair, we love her but also poke fun at her awkwardness because there have been so many interviews and weird clips where she does something very human and borderline clumsy/embarrassing, but she’s a good sport. I think everyone gave her a hard time leading up to this album because she was quite a meme for giving really boring, stiff performances lacking joy and stage presence. But she took that trolling/meme status and literally just... got better and I think that’s why this album redeemed her for a lot of folks.

@@AnggaSteve It's because she is an icon, she is a queen, and she is the moment. She knows exactly what the gays want, and she gives it to us every single time. We are blessed to live in the same life time as her.

Not even surprised, she’s a 10/10 pop singer and she has proven to be an absolute alpha.

Exactly! She seems so happy and when she performed she looked like she was having the best time. Her dress is beautiful,so sparky and she deserved the Grammy.

I’m Italian and I spent just 3 years living in uk but I have to say something… I’m in in love with Dua Lipa and with whole country… I really really like how they create great artists and just people or children in every situation who love singing, talking, dancing, playing or coming out and living their own life and grow up as just normal people should ever do …in old different times was like this maybe in many places but not in this era… this country and everything there seems human, deep and ascent… It’s not easy being human today around the world. I really wanna thanks all gentle and polite and lovable people in this country and they must be an example to take seriously… I appreciate the kindness and ways they use to be useful and productive! Well Deserved!! Definitely the Best Pop Vocal Album of 2020. Dua also deserved Record Of The Year for “Don’t Start Now” I was shocked that she lost that award. It would’ve also been nice if she had won Album Of The Year. Congrats to Dua on her 3rd Grammy WIN!!
