Yeah last year drafting the 2 positions we absolutely didn't need. This year finally addressing the trenches. About time. Don't get me wrong, I like Spoon and JSN but there was so much beef available last year and we completely avoided the trenches. Love this pick.

This new coach seems so much more level headed instead of this previous Coach Pete's unnecessary excitement. There are times when there is a need for being jacked up but as a coach, I believe it hurts your team into unnecessary mistakes on the football field.

The biggest mistake by coaches or managers is when they take over as a new regime they want to rip up everything, I hope Mike Macdonald doesn't fall into this trap. Seahawks have a great foundation figure out what worked for so long under Pete and make slight adjusments and this team will continue to have success. I think they got the best defensive player in the draft so that's a start.

i mean hey they all get to learn and grow together which will be huge in the next few years. the best thing we can do under a new regime is draft well in the first few years of the regime and boom. i mean that’s what happened in 2010-2012 with building our team before 2013 with kam, russ, earl, sherm, bobby, okung, and etc… in pete and john’s first few years in seattle. i mean just look at houston so far lol

I'm glad that Schmidt didn't screw this up by trading down, that it is best to have fewer draft picks and add all-pro types rather than trading down, such as 16th in the first round for a late 2nd round, two 6ths, and a 5th next year. Hey, there will be players that might be good enough in the UFL and CFL to bring in, plus the undrafted prospects, but no useless chafe from the draft. Murphy II will hopefully create chaos and mayhem all over opposing teams.
