    Man you are a genius! What kind of assembly is this, like a spaceship. I have a passat b7 TDI 2012 125kw 4 motion, with the same gearbox as in the video. While the gearbox is cold, it works perfectly. As soon as it warms up (the vcds shows over 65 degrees of oil temperature in the gearbox), the following problems appear - when moving from rest to R or forward (D/S), a strong shock and jerk. When driving, everything is normal. And the second thing I noticed, it doesn't matter if it's cold or hot when I drive it in manual mode, during strong acceleration when changing gears I feel a strong impact, while with mild acceleration the gear changes are smooth. I changed the oil and filter, nothing changed. Calibration was done in VCDS. There are no errors in the diagnosis. Do you know what I should do? Would cleaning the mechatronics and valves solve the problems I have? Thanks in advance, cheers!

    Great video. I have the dsg 6 speed gearbox in my 2010 r36 passat . my mechatronics is leaking at the connector/plug. My mechatronic revision is AL. No error codes and is driving completely fine. Was it overfilled or is there a more serious issue inside the mecha? Are there any o rings or seals that can be reolaced? Thank you

    I get code P2723 Pressure control solenoid E, Performance/Stuck Off from my understanding, It only has 1st gear when sitting It attempts to shift into 2nd then it goes neutral and shift back to 1st or 3rd maybe and PRDN flash starts. and it stays in 2nd so looks like N233 solenoid is the issue? if I'm reading and understanding correctly

    hey i have a golf 7 gti dq250 with the errors in all gears not adjustable. RPM signal from engine control unit P0726 and valve 3 in partial transmission 1 and 2 electrical fault, cooling oil valve electrical fault pressure control valve 3 electrical fault I replaced N215, N216, N217 and N218... still have the errors and jerky gear changes... what can I do ? please help me :/

    Hello, great work. I have a 2015 CC. I have a code(P0716) related to the G182 sensor. The car will not select any gear and no flashing gear indicator. I have replaced the sensor, and the code is still there And no movement. My mechatronic is with the part number 02E927770AL. I have also replaed the mechatronic with Part number 02E927770AE but no improvement, the code is still there. I was able to get similar mechatronic with same part number as mine, but made in 2010. Pls will it work? Do I need to do any form of coding or just a basic settings? Pls anyone ideas on what could be the solution. My VW CC is just 30k miles. Thank you.

    Hi, i have attempted cleaning my mechatronic but after putting it back into the car with new dsg fluids, i get P1707 when trying to do basic settings and it does not complete group 061. any advise? also some attempts i get P2711 as well.

    Hello bro, I really really appreciate your help and I have a question, I have a mk5 gti 2005, I had a problem that has been there for a while, I even replaced the half of the mechatronic keeping the same TCU but I still get gear 1 and 2 slip at 1600 revs if you take long to shift eg if you are on a hill. I have also changed clutches, oil to exact 5.5lts, but nothing help. I even had it flashed to stage3 map to increase clamping pressure but still nothing worked, it has no errors at all and shifts without any issues if you don't take long in gear 2 at 1600 revs. Please advise Thank you

    I have a jerky first and reverse ( the car jumps like kangaroo when you release the brake and is very aggressive on take off ) but no fault codes, is there any chances I can test the solenoids before removing the mechatronics and changing them. The car drives fine when it’s very cold only ( -10c ). I suspect N215/N216. My transmission is MQB dq250 ( 09D ). Should I buy new solenoids or try to clean and fix the old ones if that is the issue..

    Similar problem with 09D plus I have somewhat hard downshifting 4-3-2 under braking when cold (bumps, kicks). When warm, downshift problem becomes less noticeable (softer), but doesn't disappear fully. Also no fault codes and only 76k km :( Dealer did the basic settings + adaptation drive and is trying to convince me that everything is normal.

    Great videos and I'm thinking about tearing mine out. Ive got a 2005 new beetle TDI with tiptronic DSG6 which has a really weird issue that if the car is pointing even a little bit downwards on a hill, it can't go into reverse. You can hear it try 3 times then limp mode. If you restart it a few times, then it goes. It's also started going into limp mode if you let it idle awhile in park, and when you engage drive, you get the flashing gear letters. Restart and its good. Don't know if these are related. The car really isn't worth throwing a lot of expensive parts at and wondering if this sounds like mechatronic or something else. Scanning gives unexpected gear engagement, but nothing about solenoids or anything else.

    ​@@GigiBeleaDK hi there I have a vw sharan 6speed dsg 2012 56k miles oil and filter changed around 53k it's a Japanese import I live in Scotland so hopefully the mileage is correct . After watching your video on dq250 mechatronics cleaning I'm wondering if it could solve my issues. Gear changes are pretty smooth but I get jerking when pulling away from stop and I feel like clutch is slipping in reverse slightly could be wrong. I have felt clutch slip in 3rd gear when accelerating hard . Also I get a squeeling at around 1300rpm when u accelerate in most gears . Any info help would be most appreciated.love your video

    Hi GiGi , i have a golf 6 gti dsg and it struggles to find reverse , if i put it in drive then back to reverse its fine and no issues . Im getting solenoid valve 1 P1815 error too. What would you suggest? , also what oil goes into the mechatronics unit ?

    I would first try to perform basic settings and see how it goes. Does it do this both when cold and hot ?

    @@GigiBeleaDK performed basic settings and it still has this issue , yes it does it when both cold and hot. But once the car is on and youve been in drive it find reverse fine.

    Hi Gigi, I have a mk5 gti dq250... Currently have no errors on the gearbox but when taking off from a stop I get a delay and jerk before moving... Same with reverse gear like a hop if I'm on an incline... Do you have any idea if it's mechatronic or clutches that are slipping? Gear changes are smooth while driving...

    Hello. I have Passat B6 with DSG DQ250 4motion. Sometimes when I change gears from 1st to Reverse there is a sudden jolt, it sometimes happens after stopping for a stoplight . Do you think it is mechatronic issue or clutches. The flywheel is in perfect shape.

    ​@@allaboutdiy3858 hi Gigi I have a 2012 vw sharan 6speed dsg 1.4tsi assume it's the dq250 it shifts ok but quite often I feel it jolts when pulling away from junctions and I think I've experienced slipping clutch in reverse and 3rd gear . Going to get a diagnostic check done but I'm wondering if the filters u mentioned n215 216 could be choked or clogging up . I've had filter and oil changed at 53k miles only got 56k on car it's a Japanese import I live in Scotland. I also wonder if oil level was low possibly not been done right by garage if this could cause issues thanks great video

    Getting the same error on a Skoda Superb. Did you get a resolution? Our car sounds like the gear can't engage then suddenly engages and the car jerks. Is that the same symptoms you had?

    Can be N215 / N216 or Clutch. When replacing clutch with such symptoms , replace the clutch drum also.

    Hello Robin, I recently purchased an Audi TT Mk3 2016 (60k km) and I remapped it with Revo Stage 1 Engine and Revo Stage 2 DSG. Afterwards from stand still when in put in Gear D the car kicks very much, it doesn't do this always but one every 5 times. Does it when cold and hot engine. My mechanics changed my gearbox oil and filter, note that the gear oil was in very bad quality. I remember them telling me that they found alot of debris and they think it was from the clutch. After doing investigation and also confirmed by this video, the issue most probably is related with the Valves or the need to clean the filters of the Valves, correct? What should be the process to do? Should I keep the Revo Stage 2 of DSG? Would appreciate your opinion.

    No , but I would recommend taking unit out of the gearbox , there to little space to work with it in the gearbox.

    @@TheIggy861 You need to completely dismantle the unit to gain access to those in order to change them. Also need to get correct parts else you will have errors on pressure readings. You also need some high soldering skills to change them.

    Hello. I have a problem with dq250 2007. I have a jerk, a hit when starting on D and on R. Sometimes he will also make a frog or a kangaroo. The rest of the gears shift smoothly.     I have a 2009 DQ250 doing the same. Slight hesitation and bang on start off in 1st or reverse. Sometimes is ok when cold. Gets bad when warm. I suspect it is the N215/K1 solenoid valve faulting?

    @@OctaneFever I changed the gearbox oil and filter. I took out and washed the solenoid valves N215 and N216. I made adaptations. It's much better. Jerk when starting is less frequent.

    @@patryk3g265 Did you have dirt under the valves n215 and n216, on the filter? How is your gearbox working now? I ask because I have the same problem. When it's cold, it works perfectly, starts immediately, either in R or D/S. As soon as it warms up, the problems start - strong shocks when moving in R or D/S. It's really uncomfortable. And I have no errors in the diagnosis. I changed the oil and the filter, did the calibration and nothing changed... Thanks for the answer, cheers!

    Yes, probably clutch pressure sensors are leaking a bit of oil. If it drives don't mind it.
