我最近有買D12，原廠網罩對聲音影響很大，不裝聲音會純凈很多！

Physical array of the speakers may be working; say, d1280 is set of two speakers lacated both sides widely, while d12 is a set of centered two speakers

Against of R1280DBs, the D12 model looks pretty confident, plays tightly and pleasantly. But compared to R1280DBs there trebles is reduced. It is still sad that there is no SPDF exit. I personally liked the model by review. Very good as budget center speaker in 5.1 system.

I have EDifier D12 and despite the bass and trebble knobs on top, there is also "cinema" and "music" modes which you can chose from the remote. The "cinema" mode is more bass heavy. Are both speakers on the same mode here?

These are NOT monitors, very far from it.

When I tested these, I found it was impossible to get anything like a flat frequency response due to excessive built it EQ. By default, it has bass and treble lift with the midrange sucked out. With the bass pot on full cut and treble on about 11 o clock it did give a more natural sound but nowhere near flat. As for being a Monitor? that is just a joke, but for the money they do offer good value but not an accurate sound. For people that like one note boomy bass and tizzy HF, they will love it.

Hello. I wonder, is white version of D12 made from wood or plastic? Because in my area, white version of D12 is much cheaper(like 30usd down) than black/wooden design.

it's wood, just paint over it. it's cheaper maybe because it's not what people are looking for, people usually looking for the natural wood color to match their furniture.

Edifier d12 has more RMS. 70 against 42. It is louder..

Which speaker model is that in white color in thumbnail ?

Very bass heavy and boomy. No speaker should be placed on the ground, better still on stands with air surrounding it.

Wow, thank you so much for this test, but I have a feeling the R1280DBs are not in stereo mode, seems to be both the left and right speakers play mono mode, they don't seems to have any stereo separation, all the instruments seems to be squeezed in the middle, is it possible to do a left right sound check?

R1280DBs was playing stereo for sure. There is no such thing as mono mode for them

@@DSAUDIOreview I know there is no mono mode on the R1280s, what i meant was the right speaker, by default, played both L/R signal into 1 speaker, then distribute the same combined L/R signal to the L speaker, thats the impression I have when listen to them.

I think, R1280DB's mid and treble balance is good, D12's bass is good.

Qual desses sons, Desses modelos tem o grave mais redondo, e com mais extensão, pois um me parece que tem um grave mais um grave puxado mais para o seco, e o outro tem um grave puxado mais pra um grave com extensão, um é um pouco mais aberto Que eu acho que é o que tem um grave seco, e o outro é um pouco mais fechado mas com grave com mais extensão desses eu pergunto porque sou deficiente visual e não consigo identificar

5:19 da tam tersi. Arka fon müziği d12 de çok daha iyi ve detaylı. Bence D12 orjinale daha yakın ses üretti çoğu parçada. Her iki cihazda çok iyi duruyor. Ama tercihim d12 olurdu. D12 nin ön panel testte sökülseydi daha objektif sonuç olurdu. Başka videolarda d12 nin harikalar yarattığını duyuyorum. Giriş seçenekleri az olması kötü sadece. Referans monitörle kiyaslandığını ve hiçte kötü olmadığını görüyorum.

I have the two but 1380 nota 1280, d12 has more power, but the bass is very worst than 1380, the 1380 the sound feel more clear than d12...

i saw the specs and the 1380 has a class D amp that's why the sound is cleaner can you install a powered sub for the 1380?

@@Litt02 I have d12 and has unbelievable power! Very good for hard rock and heavy metal. D12 has 2 Ti Tas5805M digital amplifiers plus DSP. No distortion at Max at all! Also I have tested and while the specs saying 54hz to 20khz the bass goes down to 35hz at least. And I have it at 0 bass and treble.

@@Litt02 got the black one at black Friday offers for 69 euro! 😜 Remember that new speakers need 100 hours of playing for better experience. Like the new car tires 😆

It's a good video, but D12 has 70 watts RMS and the 1280 DB only 42 watts RMS

Edifier r1280dbs is obviously better i think... but d12 also not bad... I thought d12 is smaller but after watch this video it is quite big in size too...

wouldnt say that. the d12 is more bass heavy and sounds better on the jazz track imo but the stage and clarity feels better on the 1280dbs. preference as always. But tbh its propably pretty much on par if you tweak them a bit.

Pity none of these speakers can handle reggae bass, tested with a lot of heavy reggae bass recordings and they just fail!
