Hmm while the T7V's sound slightly more open and a litttle...darker, the A5X take the cake for the clean hard punch they are able to deliver and the much more balanced and cleaner mids and highs, where you can hear how the Adam Guys tuned the ribbon tweeter to next lvl.

Probably mismatched gain knobs, as both were set to 0dB while recording

My ears prefer the A5X, my eyes the T7V. The ears have it, the ears have it.

Твиттеры тоже огонь. От т7 устаёшь даже на тесте. Читаемый бас и прозрачная середина у a5x достигается более легким отзывчивым и дорогим материалом динамика. У т7v нет "жизни" во всех частотах ниже 1khz

The A5X is better full stop. It's cleaner and more precise AND it doesn't lose out in the bass. Now superceded by the A4V but if I can still find a pair of A5X I'm on 'em. Second thoughts - the T7Vs sound closer to the A7Xs than they do the A5Xs ie the 5Xs seem to match them or beat them in the bass !!! But then when you look at the graphs you can see that the output from the A5Xs in the bass seems higher than for the T7Vs and that's what I'm hearing - maybe the bass was tweaked up a bit on the A5Xs since in reality the T7Vs should be able to out-bass them. Further observations, both the A5X and the A7X roll the bass off quite quickly compared to the T7Vs, and this makes them sound a bit cleaner in the bottom end since the bass isn't hanging around to muddy things up. The best place to put the lo-bass is actually on a sub where you can control it better. One more thought, I think the better quality tweeters on the X monitors means that they can be turned down a bit cf the V monitors, also the X monitors do sound a bit flatter (like the A series) but the V series really kick ass at the price point. One more thing, use some judicious EQ, peeps - it really is your friend and good speakers can be EQ'd successfully, especially downwards at the extremes.

Tbh i found A5x resonating and puncher and t7v to be flat for mix and better low end.

When I heard it, I thought all the time only focal or Genelec xD T7V is a nice speaker, why play a kick drum in the center when it also goes right 🤣
