your old bars look so nice and straight! I wish I wouldn't have been forced into buying new bars... it hurt! But boy oh boy am I happy with the new riding stance! Neat spot to relocate the ignition too!

Yea, that stinks that you HAD to get new ones. I know the stock bars are extra weak and I knew I would fall extra hard soon enough. That doesn't make a good combination. :) I figured that I would get thicker bars as not to ruin a future ride with bent bars. I like to have a pretty crashable bike. I think that is why I am selecting not to modify the carburetor/intake/exhaust. I just want to be able to ride dependably. Plus, the height of the bars makes standing much nicer.

TomAndToys Yeah unfortunately falling is part of the love affair... oh well. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger right? Yeah I feel you on the mods man, I had to be able to drop the bike and keep riding, so I opted out of all the performance stuff too... it was a tough choice... but those radiator guards alone have already saved me lots of money in repairs. My bike is a 2014 and looks pretty beat up already... but I have always been able to get home after a crash so far!

Do you have to take your throttle cables apart on your handlebars to put new handlebars on I saw where you slid them off The Handlebar but do you have to take the throttle cables off the throttle control 4:37

I'd like to put them on my DRZ I ordered some 20 mm 30 mm 15 mm risers and none of these items line up with my stock handlebar cover

Thank you 😊 Tell me please, how did you install the right and left remote control with buttons? In their original configuration (with the original steering wheel), these consoles have protrusions for holes in the steering wheel. Have you removed them?

Did you use the same throttle tube or have to buy another one?

I noticed your bar clamp adapter is mounted to the inside of your original mount. Others I've seen are to the outside. Is this optional / intentional?

are the bars narrower or wider?

Are the bars much higher? My drz bars are stock and very low. The bars look cool.

Do you have to purchase those clamps separately or do they come as a part of the handlebar assembly?

You said you want to know what I think. Your video is informative. But your voice is too quiet and your intro music way too loud. Could use a little better lighting on that bar. It's black and hard to see which is a shame since I want that same setup.
