The heating coils can break and when they do your drier will appear to run perfectly but there will not be no heat at all. That is a great sign that this may be the problem.

You guys are just amazing with these videos. Thank you very much
You could test the also test the thermal fuse, and high limit thermostat for continuity before tearing into the heating element. If the fuse and thermostat get good continuity reading then check the heating element leads for continuity and/or check your heating element leads for ohms reading and should be around 10.4 or so depending on type and age...good luck you's guys...!

Hello, mine read 0 ohms. I assume there’s a short somewhere. Any other ideas? Thanks!
Thank you there was a break in my coil. I copy your idea and it wroks good now. Thank you.
Thank you!
Thanks a bunch
Thank you! My element was broke and i used the screw to get me by until my part chimes in tomorrow!
Always disconnect one lead from element to get true test result. Never use washers and screws to repair broken element unless you want bigger problems.
You have to disconnect heater from wiring completely to do continuity test. Otherwise you will get false reading.
Thanks for this video. There is no break in my coils.
The mod works!
What icon on control panel shows this? I have a red square 🟥 on mine flash
What if one of those white pieces are broken?? Would that case the dryer to heat to much and smell like burning?
Great video, thank you! I have discovered that my high limit thermostat is blown so will fix that. On testing also found that my heating element is black from heat but still conducts when tested. Is there any benefit to me installing a new heating element if old one is not blown?
My dryer is giving just little heat, is that still a heating element problem?
is that repair dangerous
Reading 0 ohms. I assume there’s a short. Any other ideas?
