First time using them and this is very helpful...thnx
This is a great and thorough video, but i will caution that essential oils in the dryer can be a potential hazard, as certain oils have flash points. If the dryer gets hot enough, using specific oils can cause a fire. While the risk is low, it should be something to note.
Straight to the point! Thank you!

I have a drier washer combo, One of the reason is for the convenience and I wish there was a way to use this. May be while I am home, will stop after washing and then add it during drying cycle.
Thank you so much for such informative video. I hear it is best to place the balls into a mesh bag or loose is ok? Also, is it OK to use 2 max dryer balls in addition or this is sufficient. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for this video, I've never used them but have been wanting to bc I want to switch to essential oils for my clothes
Just bought my dryer balls. Trying really hard to be sustainable! Thanks for the advice.

You are so welcome! Way to go for making the switch!
Great video! Question though, Obviously this is for the drying stage of the washing process - What should I use to wash my clothes, though? I use a 2 in 1 washing liquid, have done for years. I honestly don't know what the safer solution is
Looking into switching to dryer balls. My question is do you put all three dryer balls in the dryer no matter the size of the load or do you reduce the amount of dryer balls in the dryer?
Love your tips ! Thanks
I really like your smile
Do you put the drops on all three balls that you put in the dryer?
I recently went to purchase dryer sheets. One of the store workers recommended laundry balls. I had never heard of these things. She said they would be a great alternative since I do not like scented fabric softener. so I’ve heard a couple of things and your help would be really appreciated. The worker said that she uses the laundry balls and sprays them lightly with white vinegar. Why would you do that how does it help? Also, I hear that using the wool ones leaves debris of wool clinging to your clothing. Is that right? Then there are some people that say you spritz them with water to add moisture to use the water combined with the heat of the dryer to make steam to take out the wrinkles.

Some people spray with vinegar so that the clothes for sure have no scent on them. An you usually spray the wool ball with water cause it speeds up a lil bit teh dryer process. Also the bits of wool left on clothes is only when ur ball is beat up and old you replace them once you notice that they are falling apart.
I use 10 of them lol. They are amazing, I'll never buy dryer sheets.
When applying the fragrance oils. how about quickly dipping or covering the the dryer balls in water so to try get the oils better spread or absorbed into the ball before just before switching on the dryer each time ?

I was wondering about using an eye dropper to place the oil a little deeper into the wool ball. I was thinking about this to prevent staining on the cute Friendsheep character dryer balls. Have you tried your method, yet? If so, how did that work? Thanks in advance.
Never used them before but sounds terrific. How many wool balls per load?
@sabrinajoy2439

I usually have about 3 to 5 per load :)
Thank you so much! I had no idea how to use them. The only different thing I’ll do is to use my EO from Young Living. There oils are from Seed to Seal, not made in a lab, nothing added nor removed, distillation done ONLY once to get just pure oil. Once again thank you!
I can’t use Walmart mainstays essential oils?
I'm new to dryer balls. Does the essential oils get on the clothes?

Yes, and it leaves tiny stain marks all over your cloths.
I use dryer ball for everything except blacks they tend to leave lint
Can I use mint as a fresher smell on dryer balls?

Does the essential oils stain the cloths?
@sabrinajoy2439

As long as you rub the oils in well into the dryer balls and use pure oils (which will essentially evaporate with the heat of the drier) they won't stain the items you put with them in the dryer.
The aromatic oils doesnt damage the clothes because they have oils???leave a stamp or something to them????
@sabrinajoy2439

As long as you use genuine essential oils that have not been diluted with other substances they should fully vaporize as soon as the dryer begins to get hot. It's also a good idea to use oils without pigment (not citrus or bright oils like blue tansy) with white clothes. Lavender is a great neutral oil that has no pigmentation.
Thanks so much for watching this video! Did you learn any new tips or did you already know my two hacks? Have you had good luck with dryer balls?
3 balls, 3 drops, 3 loads thanx bye
You are pretty MashAllah ..
Oh and for everyone out there stop wasting money on detergent and softener, simply use about 2tbls of baking soda "much cheaper and does the same job" and use distilled vinegar for the softener. Oh and I have not static after drying and no smell! You are welcome!
Noo u just drop it in without pin ..the pin makes noise and damages

Thanks for sharing your advice! If you use a tiny pin and fully secure most of the metal within the ball so only the ends stick out shouldn't make any noise and certainly won't damage anything.

Do i add the essential oils on the ball and throw them in while while clothes are wet or after they are dry.
