This saved my life after over 7 years of neck and back pain from muscle-nerve dysfunction.
Loved it had this done the other on the same spot. It hit the trigger point and gave me so much relief after. Would highly recommend
I did this yesterday. So painful. But it was a big help and relieve after that

What is the cost
Great therapy.
It works! I've had it done 3 times at one place and over a year later at another place. It does hurt during, but i had immediate relief when they took the needles out. It will be sore for a day, but it was so worth it!
Ahhh it’s soo good. I have severe hemi dystonia from a bad stroke and dry needling is absolutely incredible. In my unhealthy tissue on my bad side my therapist says it feels like “beef jerky” 😮yuck
I had pain for 12 years, pain was a #10, I tried the needling and the pain was actually minimal to #2 pain after the second visit, I highly recommend this, this is unbelievable! When needling, "getting picked it" got to a #3pain but it goes away

It’s so incredible what it can do! Do you mind if I ask what the source of your pain was (if you know)?
Thank you doctor for sharing.

Had this done today for first time, REALLY hoping it helps! Living with chronic pain is terrible . I have hope, it's been 10+ years of chronic neck and back pain and I know specifically of one trigger point over my right scapula....he hit that one good today....here's hoping! 🤞
I had this done today, same area. Because of the intensity of pain my sympathetic nervous system kicked in causing me to lose consciousness. The Physical therapist thought she was going to have to call a code on me. But, I do have a little relief.
I've had 3 sessions now first was superficial needles second was deeper and more painful Sharp pain for a second or 2 but lots more needles, 3 rd session 1 needle hit something and I jumped this pain was severe she pulled the needle straight out it's been sore for 2 days now .I felt she hit a nerve she said it was a trigger point .I had 60 needles before this 1 but this 1 was alot different ,it was a pain id never like to experience again and 1 il never forget,.it's actually thrown me off going back now for more
I started my treatment today with Dry Needle and it hurts but it helps a lot. It is really worth it

@@nateasaurus3163 Same here. Barely hurts. I'm currently in my first session for radicular symptoms from muscle knots/triggers in between my scapula/shoulders. Hope this awfulness goes away with dry needling. This sucks!

Is stripping and stretching the muscle applied like in neuromuscular therapy? LMT’s are taught STIMULATE, applying ischemic pressure, STRIP, deep pressure o/i, STRETCH, defining ROM
Wish I could visit an acupuncturist near me in the city I live.

I have tendinitis in my shoulder, and the dull pain is *horrible,* especially at night. Would this procedure offer me some relief? I told my doctor about a year ago I was fantasizing about taking a needle and stabbing the area. He laughed and told me about “dry needling.” I’d never heard of it before, but it certainly looks promising.

Potentially! A good quality exercise and flexibility routine would help as well!
Is it dangerous if you hit a lymph node ?
My orthopedic doctor has referred me to a place for trigger point therapy and injections. I will opt out of the injections as my system doesn't like unfamiliar stuff going in it. Have to have trigger point therapy on my right side parascapular muscles.

Best of luck. Most periscapular trigger points are caused by nerve root compression in the neck.

Is it more painful on certain areas of the body? Like tattoos?

It's painful as tattoos. Bcs needle is very thin and only cause little Shorness for two to three days.. But actually it's helps.

It all depends on the person. There are many sensations that come with acupuncture but it is not painful or anything like getting a tattoo.

My feet are very sensitive to the needling and will hyper-twitch in certain places. I’m also bony in a lot of spots that make it more sensitive, but overall it is very euphoric when you hit that trigger point. I always know my girl Jenn hit the right place too because when I get home my dog will sniff all the needle holes and the ones where she was really spot-on makes him cough, like they’re releasing dirty stuff! Sorry, edit to say that tattooing for me causes a grinding feeling. Needling is not like that. I find the tattoo feeling euphoric as well though… I should try getting a tat on a main trigger point to see if it helps!

depends on the muscle in some you can feel a sharp piercing pain with a muscle contraction but for the most part its tingly
How does the person breathe?
thumbs up for the therapist, not so for the presenter.
Poor dry needling skills. Couldnt properly illicit the local twitch response he had to resort to needle twirling and trickery.
Acupuncture vs. Dry Needling Acupuncture and dry needling are often confused with each other. Both procedures involve the insertion of needles into the skin. However, there are some important differences between these two procedures. Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been used for over 3000 years. It is based on the belief that there is a life force energy, known as qi, that flows through the body. The goal of acupuncture is to restore balance to the body by correcting any imbalances in the flow of qi. Dry needling is a relatively new procedure that has only been used for the past few decades. It is based on the Western medical model of anatomy and physiology. The goal of dry needling is to release muscle tension and trigger points. There are some similarities between acupuncture and dry needling. However, there are also some important differences. Acupuncture is a holistic approach to medicine that looks at the whole person, not just the symptoms of the disease. Dry needling is a more targeted approach that focuses on specific muscle groups. Isn’t there a type of acupuncture called Ah Shi which is very similar?
@easternacupunctureandwelln7193
Жыл бұрын
@@MrsTessWren Hello, yes there are specific local points called Ashi points which are similar to what dry needling is as it goes into the origin and or insertion of the muscle to create a involuntary muscle movement.
