It does not ''feel like this'', it's precisely what it is. Her lyrics are a mix of her older diaries/writings, newspaper clipings, surrounding and her inner monologue.

Hypnotic percussion, strong funky bass, inventive exhilarating guitar, and Florence Shaw's charm and wit over the top. They are mesmerising. Saw them in Bristol in February and will see them again next year. These, Fontaines and Idles got me through lockdown and beyond.

Seen them live a couple of times and loved it. How Florence manages to stay still despite the infectious music always amazes me

I can't help dancing around while listening to Tony Speaks, my two dogs think I've gone completely mad. This could be my all-time favorite track.

I love this band so much. They really are a musical force with amazing playing by all, and the vocals that just bend all that sound in just the right way. I found these guys during Covid and I've been loving the crap out their music ever since!

Love this band. I saw them live in Toronto and they're coming back so off I go again! xoxo

Did you go see them in Brazil? I saw them in Buenos Aires last Tuesday and they were AMAZING! I got to meet them after the show and they’re really friendly & warm people ❤️

How do you know Dry Cleaning is good? Because they are challenging & the more you listen to them the more you like them.

I absolutely love this! Her voice is hypnotizing. Every time I re-listen to one of their songs, I hear something new it’s like listening to the unwrapping of an onion.

I am absolutely delighted! For me personally, your music is a reference to the best times of the early 90s, for a long time I have not heard such a high-quality musical level.

One of my favourite bands... Ever! Brilliant in everything.

Her spoken style reminds me of a heavily sedated version of John Lydon in PiL and the guitar has a little of Keith Levene in it.

I was and still am a big fan of Saint Etienne. Her vocal performance has an element of Sarah Cracknell, when she does spoken word portions of their performances. It is internal thoughts externalised, stream of consciousness, a hymn to the mundane everyday banalities of existence.
