I’ve been using the baby facial and luxury oil for a couple of months, and I am obsessed. If you’re debating on buying this, I definitely recommend! It makes my skin so plump, hydrated and glowing! It definitely has changed my skin for the better.

Never tried the Ordinary But I will try it. The only problem I see is User Error. Light (esp sunlight) can damage product, Thus the user needs to put it somewhere dark (like in a small box). Also items falling into the bottle or touching the dipper to the face or anything else then putting it back can damage the product... That is easy to do, but people will surprise you. That is why I would recommend Drunk Elephant over the Ordinary given effectiveness and outcomes towards positive skincare is the same. But if I know the person is responsible and/or living at the poverty line I would probably recommend the ordinary

I dunno, I used babyfacial for a year and then the ordinary dupe for a year. I just went back to babyfacial because it worked wonders for my skin whereas the ordinary was just....ordinary for me. My day routine (once a week) is using a cleanser (that is the one skincare product I will not splurge too much on- so I just use either glossier milky jelly or a basic curology cleanser), followed by the tatcha rice exfoliator (or ORG beauty's spray exfoliant), then thayers rose toner, babyfacial, prism AHA serum, and glossier's moisturizer. At night I always do all of that (minus the babyfacial) and I'll swap out the herbivore serum for a simple retinol. This routine has done my skin right and given it that "glassy" look.

Got both of them. I’m a long term user of the Sukari D.E and I can’t rave enough about it. It does what it says. The glow after is like no other. The skin is airbrushed. Even my boyfriend stole it from me. The Ordinary, on the other side, is a fine cheap alternative but they are not playing the same league. For some reason...it’s just not the same but it’s still a fine product. And ....Given the price tag....it’s worth to try :)

It’s just like generic drugs. Delivery and efficacy are part of price reduction. The Ordinary is great but nearly a raw material. Drunk Elephant has extra benefits with ingredients that also make it a best choice for first time users or those with sensitive skin.

In theory, The Ordinary works the same as DE, but in the world of skincare, a product's formulation, in addition to its ingredients, plays a significant role. I've tried both peels, and DE unclogged my easily clogged skin, giving it a glow and healthy appearance, whereas the ordinary just gave me a soft-to-touch effect while some pores remained clogged. You may purchase The Ordinary if cost is the primary consideration, I believe it is better to use one than none at all.

@@tatiana.mp3 It's not true, though. "doing the same thing" is not the same thing as "being the same thing" and formulation differences can really be important to a lot of people, especially those with sensitivities to various ingredients. To illustrate my point: TO's AHA/BHA mask has similar acids in it than DE's baby facial. Similar, but not the same. While they both share glycolic acid, salacylic acid, lactic acid and tartaric acid, the concentrations of each vary in both products. TO's has hyaluronic acid and DE's doesn't. DE's has niacinamide and TO's doesn't. That's just pointing out a few ingredient differences and similarities, but if you compare the labels side by side, it's clear the formulations are actually significantly different. Precision of language if you're going to be an influencer matters. What she said is misleading, and I pointed it out. Why you got involved, I don't know, but yes, it matters.

  • @tatiana.mp3

@@psykhe849 Stop being ridiculous. What she said isn't misleading AT ALL, nor any different from what others have said about these two products. We all know there are different formulations, but they produce the same exfoliating effect, which is what she was trying to get at. I've used both products and concur with her opinion. Sorry, but I DONT agree with you on her intent on this video.

As far as price point goes I think it’s just personal preference, like anything else. I’ve never understood why people spend _sooo_ much money on, sayyyyy, tennis shoes for example. Why in the _world_ would someone pay $170 at Foot Locker for some Jordans or whatever, when you can go to Payless or Target and pay $40 for a store brand shoes that’s for the most part no different in performance? Some women *must* have a $600 handbag when I can get the _exact_ same handbag minus the monogram for $60?? The only thing one spends the difference on is the ”name brand” which seems like an odd priority to me. That being said, the difference between my $80 DE Sakura and my $13 Ordinary is indeed ingredients and for me, a much better outcome. I have very thick skin and it is very oily. (Which is why I chuckled when I read Stephen’s opinion about how you used “…soooooo much of the Ordinary one … You should be using such a small amount that your face is only slightly pinkish” - lol. I would _slather_ the stuff on as though I was an extra in Nightmare on Elm Street! 😆 My skin was like, “meh”. The DE though? Holy macaroni THAT stuff _hurt_ if I’d put too mucho . Like my skin simply could not deal. The difference in my skin was absolutely obvious after using 3 or 4 times, though. DE really positively impacted the tone, texture, glow and pore dilation of my face/chest whereas Ordinary really only.oozed and felt nice a few hours after I used the product. DE Sakura is a much more effective product for my skin so I’m paying for what I’m getting. Thanks so much for the great video! 💯🥰👌🏼
