I was denied one time and although I didn't agree with it at the time because I was a passenger I now completely agree with their decision to deny me. I didn't cause a scene or argue even though I disagreed because you gotta pick your battles. There's always a good chance you'll realize the other side was right after a night of sleep.

Yeah Ive worked at gast stations and not only can the store be liable but you can also lose your job or even jail time for selling to someone already heavily intoxicated. Had two ladies come in while I was working overnight and in our state you cant sell alcohol after a certain time on certain days (like sunday) and luckily they were only two older drunken wine moms that yelled at me for denying them. I had to say even if it wasnt for the law and time it was, that I physically couldnt cuz you guys are drunk off your minds. They had to come in the next day to argue with my manager who told them "Yeah no shes right. She wasnt allowed to sell it to you." for them to leave it alone. I couldnt imagine someone actually putting their hands on me for it....

I grew up surrounded by adults that liked to drink and sounded like this. One of my first core memories is my father falling asleep at the wheel when I was around 5. Then when I escaped my childhood home at 17, I started working as a bartender/server to survive. I've watched people lose their logical minds drinking too long. My parents included. My mother has dementia and my father is a spiteful angry red faced man. An old friend and his wife, lost their 10 month old baby in a horrible accident with a drunk driver that crossed lanes at 9 am on a weekday. The longer I am on this earth... The more I detest the free and liberal consumption of alcohol in our society. It's as bad as drugs like meth and crack. We just don't like to admit it and we sell it on every corner.

Life tip: Any time you're dealing with an adult and they utter the phrase "Lookit..." just move towards ending the conversation because I can assure you it'll go nowhere good. I used to feel sorry for trash because they're usually raised in a bad situation, but the are lots of people who came from bad situations that went on to do great things. That being said, a lot of trash like her habitually make things worse for themselves. Also, what's with an entire generation of people that scream and holler that they can't breathe while taking giant, full breaths indicating that they can breathe just fine.

I did the job for 14 years in Los Angeles. I couldn't do it today. Too much mental illness, courts letting people off with no consequences, no respect for law enforcement or citizens. We're screwed as a society

Thank you for the time you served. Doing what's right for your mental health is most important and knowing when to say " no more" is incredibly self-aware and self-less. I hope you found something that fullfills!

not making any type of excuse but im pretty sure women r more prone to having anxiety disorders, not saying her anxiety is unvalid but in my experience my anxiety makes me shut down, i would NOT be yelling at the cops && being out of pocket like she was 🤷🏻‍♀️ im aware everyone has different experiences but anxiety is a type of fear feeling so the fact she immediately keeps talking over the cop && over explaining everything doesn’t lead me to believe she has bad anxiety like she leads us to believe just my opinion tho 🤷🏻‍♀️ also idk if i have to say this but regular anxiety && disordered anxiety is NOT the same. so she’s most likely having regular anxiety after getting caught doing sum she knows she shouldn’t be doing 🤷🏻‍♀️
