Actually that crosshand blastbeat for me is an alternate way to make me more comfortable doin such long blastbeat and keeps the consistency, besides I can make another accent with the "free hand". And yeah, I use the moeler technique from jojo mayer as well. Such a great foundation. Anyway thank you so much for your reaction. I do enjoyed it so much. dude is amazing and brutal...

Personally I would cross like he did at 6:00 because entering into that blast is more comfortable traditionally crossed over, but as you continue blasting you want your right hand on snare for endurance if your right hand is stronger, which it usually is. If you can switch over without missing a beat Dirk Blast style then you can focus on preserving dynamics by using your right hand to do most of the heavy lifting, endurance wise.

Swapping the blast hand is for rest, just try to blast on your lap for a bit, you start to slow down pretty quick especially for a long as he was going for. So alternate blast hands each measure.

Oki Fadhlan is the best Drummer in the world

My hands are still under developed with this new drumming thing. If I try to play a rapid hihat beat without a warmup. No. My hand starts to stiffen up and slow down. He already posted, but that was my guess. A rather convenient way to look cool while preserving muscle endurance.
