this young man is set for life playing like that, extraordinary

I adore watching him. I also adore how his mum and dad are absolutely brimming with pride. People will likely comment and say things like ‘he can improve this he can improve that’. He’s 8. Imagine him when he’s in his 20s. This lad will be on tour with the big acts of his time. Mark my words.

This whole talent thing is tricky. He clearly has put in some serious time. More than most. But that's the thing, what 4yo has the mental capacity to do what he was doing? To commit that hard to anything? We all want to feel like we're on an even playing field. But we're talking about insanely rapid progression in four years. That's crazy for anyone. And he was doing it through ages where I can't even get my kids to follow basic instructions if I put them in front of a kit.

Does this kid have drum endorsement deals yet holy crap he's a beast 8 years old

He makes me smile from my soul. I feel bad that Im not near as good on my bass with 7 times more years playing lol.

Other than being a phenom, the best part is this young man absolutely LOVES playing. That is awesome, real passion and drive.

This is the third time I've seen a video of him. And the thing I noticed with him is that he hits harder as the song gets to the end. From the end point of 2/3rd's till he finishes, kid gets stronger. Amazing.

The ability of a young mind to absorb and transfer the mind to muscle is amazing. I used to do a LOT of offroading and at the park i went to to thrash the mud youd see kids jumping dirt bikes 20 feet in the air and tearing up the track, but when they got off youd see a 6 year old with 2 or 3 missing teeth, cant even talk clearly yet and cant walk 20 steps without tripping over something. When you start em young, their brains get wired for that function and they excel far beyond an adult with the same amount of time in training. Amazing.

Caleb is an absolute phenom. Most kids his age don’t know their address. He’s just insane🤘🏼

Caleb has played with Slipknot and Evanesance I know that is not the correct spelling but anyway he has played on stage with both of them I could leave you links if you would like

He never played with Slipknot. He got invited up on stage and then the guys have watched his videos before. But they only brought them up on stage. They didn’t have him play with them.

However, it’s safe to say that as time goes on, he will eventually play with them. I think they want to do more than just one song so they want him to be a little older. Who knows I know the guys are definitely gonna get him on stage to play, at some point without a doubt

Caleb IS AWESOME !! I've been watching him now for about 4 years on Facebook. He was on the Ellen show a couple of years ago. I would love to see a podcast with you guys . That would be awesome !!

He's interesting to me because he is playing rock music via traditional grip (although he will switch to match mid-song), and his kit sounds tremendous. Hope you are well. Cheers!

I only have one explanation for Calebs drumming...OK maybe two. (1) He is lying about his age. He's really 42, but just a "wee person" incognito with years experience with underground metal bands. (2) He is actually 1002 years old and from a distant galaxy that our primitive telescopes have yet to discover, due to the fact that it would take 1000's of years for the light to reflect back to Earth for our witness. I mean really, this would be the best explanation. Mocking us with the "Horns" after videos AND we have really never heard him actually speak...other than on Ellen (which I think she is also an alien and in cohoots). Just a thought.
