I just found out I’m related to the 8th Laird of Drum! This was a treat to watch, thank you for the video!

Oh... now I really would like to go there, too. What a beautiful presentation of the castle and surrounds! Are there other remaining tower houses that you would recommend seeing, to compare with Drum Castle?

There are still quite a few left but not all are open to the public. If you google “Tower houses in Scotland “ you will get a lot of information. Thanks for your comment.
