@@gisellefrederick6702The headquarter of Weleda definitely is in Arlesheim in Switzerland. After the German site called ' Der kommende Tag' almost had to declare bankruptcy it became a daughter company to the Swiss 'Internationale Laboratorien AG' in 1922. In 1924 the company changed its name to Weleda. The companies headquarter remains in Arlesheim, Switzerland to this day.

I wouldn't say Weleda is UK based. Despite being a multinational company, I am pretty sure it was founded in Swizterlans and still has its headquarter in Switzerland. Also, you read Weleda as "Veleda," and it is the name of a pagan Germanic wise woman. Maybe it's because of that but Weleda's products tend to have a lot of "natural" ingredients (i.e lanolin, lots of botanical extracts), and that also tickles many of the palette of those who fancy clean beauty. Not sure where you get the price point but typically Weleda Skin Food Original Rich Cream is priced around 20 USD, with around 3~4 USD margin of error, not counting discounts and sales. I should know, I have used that specific product when trying to use more cruelty free products when I didn't have much option.

I prefer knowing that celebrities use affordable stuff, makes them seem slightly more relatable. Also Cass would love a video on what to do about dry/allergic/red itchy irritated skin. I’m an apprentice carpenter & I’ve noticed that when I wear my dust mask I get dry, red itchy skin where the mask has been. I’ve had bouts of eczema flare ups since I was a baby, but this seems like it’s more of an allergy thing?! I use this galliné brand that has probiotics to help my skin barrier repair, but I need to know if it’ll improve once the barrier is stronger? Like if I’m allergic to fine sawdust particles, could I eventually get desensitised? I don’t wanna quit cause of an allergy 🥺 I’m in the uk & my doc has never referred me to a derm and just gives me potent steroid cream- which you can’t really use on the face/neck 😬 also can I still use retinol on my face over broken/irritated skin? And is it ok to use SA weekly to slough off some of the flakyness or is it worse in the long run? Any advice would be fab love ya & I hope you’re doing better ❤

And I agree with Cassandra that she probably has procedures that are expensive enough that they aren't available to the average person.

Johnson's baby oil is really good, I say. The original is good but the cottontouch one is a more nourishing in my opinion. Probably because it's a blend of cotton extract and coconut oil last time I checked/used it. So about Johnson's Baby not being cruelty free, I think that is practically impossible considering that Johnson & Johnson is a pharmaceutical company and not a cosmetics company, and Johnson's Baby is owned by Johnson & Johnson. Same logic likely applies to Neutrogena and Aveeno.

@@Banovlogs Textrahexlydecyl ascorbate is recommended more often for oily skin. That is an inactive form of vitamin C. I have used Drmtlgy's vitamin C5. It isn't too terribly priced and they often run sales to get a discount (some influencers have link for savings or I can share my personal link). It does have fragrance in it. It does have ceramides and peptides as well and is in a moisturizer. Pillowtalk Derm, Dr. Shereene Idriss, has her brand Major Fade Active Seal which is a moisturizer and vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate). I feel like there are more active forms of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) which may work OK for you. Check out videos from Shereene Idriss, The Budget Dermatologist, Angie Hot and Flashy and Dr Dray. Just type in their names and "vitamin C " as these could be helpful. I don't think I would waste my $$ unless it was the active form or tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate form. Timeless has a reasonably priced active form as well as Maelove. I'm using Paula's Choice which is nice. So many come with droppers and L-ascorbic acid is sensitive to light and air. Check out those videos as I think they will be helpful 😀 😊

I want more skincare that’s more basic and doesn’t have ingredients like niacinimide or HA… Something for people whose skin reacts to nearly everything. All these “sensitive skin” brands are not for skin like mine. There are people out here who can’t even use oat or aloe. Where’s the skincare line for us?

4:34 into this video…. Let’s get real nobody wants the skin care routine from a pop star that’s 13 years old ! Maybe journalists should be asking her about menopause and how she deals with Hot Flashes / Flushes while their at it !

Cassandra, I would LOVE to see you make a video about Herbal Face Food and hear your thoughts. They’re an expensive skincare brand that some influencers promote to make commission on. There are no negative reviews I have read online but their claims seem, at best, misguided but dangerous at worst!

😅 I mean... is it a "secret" if they've OPENLY, as you said, spoken about it + gotten photographed with/near the products. 🤔 I think you are trying to create something that doesn't exist. All those famous people are, well, people. Of course, just like us, they use multiple products from different companies- it's normal. Just because they don't show everything they use, that doesn't mean they "lie to us." It becomes a lie when they present results, claiming they came from their own brands, and you said there are "people who don't know better" who believe them. Following that logic, I think the focus of the video should be on "them NOT TELLING us they use certain brands along with their own" and the "they LIED and HAD WORK DONE, but CLAIMED it was THEIR brand" be left for another video on "marketing tactics used by celebrities". Yes, celebreties have brands and are selling theirs products for more $ than it should be normally, but just like with "luxury brands" here you are paying for the "name/celeb" behind it as well. I truly believe you know and have an insight on how marketing/business works, so why bother making a video explaining/complaining the obvious.
