TrinaDuhra forgot to ask. Why is the blender sponge better than a concealer brush? I tried it once but felt like it absorbed too much of the product.

The only thing that stands between those 2 are the price I get it if your a professional makeup artist your gonna invest on professional brushes for your clients or love doing your makeup but if you don’t use makeup often I just go with the drug store brand .

Just found this video today looking for good brushes that perform as well as high end, although this wasnt exactly what I wanted but I love that you actually showed how the brushes performed and were very informative... this video alone earned you a new subscriber.

I can tell a huge difference - the eco tools side is extremely opaque. Your cheeks stand out more as a result, and your face looks somehow less pale and dull. On the higher end side, your face looks more flat, dull, and the eyeshadows look so similar in color and hard to see. Oh, and I notice a slight appearance of a dark circle under your eye only on that side, somehow The eco tools side looks like makeup, and the higher end side looks wayyyy more natural basically.

Love this video btw, I could see a lot of work went it into it. Like how you’re straight to the point and no BS ❤️

Definitely didn’t notice any difference!!! Nobody else would either, realistically. I have wasted money on expensive brushes, but then started buying the Jessup line from eBay (from China). I like most of my Jessup brushes 100% more than any of my MAC brushes, and that’s the honest truth. I mean I paid $15 for full 15-20 piece sets. Just another way these companies are making so much money, most people equate more money spent with better performance. It simply is NOT the case. FYI, if you buy the sets from China, just wash the set before you use them. It makes the chemical like smell completely go away.

its only a matter of who the artist is. Being as good as Trina, she can probably do better with her fingers than me using high end brushes.

I don't use the EcoTools slanted eye brush for liner, but it is my FAVORITE brush for applying brow powder on my eyebrows! Great video Trina! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Agreed! It’s my absolute favorite brush for doing my brows but I don’t use it for eyeliner. They have another thinner brush I use for liner. Love me some Ecotools.

I couldn’t tell a difference,. Good job! I have some eco tool brushes that I bought years ago. They’re not bad at all n so reasonable. The sponge looks great. Will have to try n get that. Thank you for sharing this.

I just came across your channel and I must say I love how talked about these brushes. I'm not an expert, more on a beginner side when it comes to make up and I am just starting getting into creating my own small collection and this video really helped me :) I had no idea whether to invest more or start with cheaper brushes, because the products which I use are more of a high end but I think I will go ahead and buy the eco brushes to start with. Eco tools are amazing. I have a full set 😍 Also they are vegan 😍😍

How do you know how much product to get on your eyeshadow brush and how do you get it on there-do you sweep the side of your brush across the shadow or dab the end of the bristles into it or what? and then how many taps do you do to get the excess off the brush?

The ecotools brushes are great brushes for the price. You don't really need to spend $100 to get a good product when it comes to these.

The high end side looks more nicely blended on your cheek area.You can't notice where your products started or finish.

Eco tools has an eye brush set. Those probably are more similar to the Mac brushes.

I think the bronzer and blush from EcoTool look "heavier" or "less natural" than the other face? Or is it just that you applied it more intensely?

I agree the bronzer and blush on the expensive side looks more airbrushed. She did apply the bronzer differently each brush so I’m wondering if its the application that is causing it rather than the brush itself. But like she said the size plays a part in that also.

Trina!! Go to Kohls and get the Precisso beauty sponges look just like the beauty blender and it's so soft and bouncy only difference is it's a bit bigger but not much. And it has a point. Comes in a 2pack one pink and one purple. 😊

I’d have to go drugstore for sure LoL , I can’t justify paying large amounts of dough in high end brushes, idk I’m crazy maybe but I always tell myself “Hmmmm buy 4 beauty sponges for $20 or buy the beauty blender for $20 and get one item “ I’m more of the quantity than quality 😂 and my husband is about the quality over quantity.... we have this Italian restaurant here Olive Garden and it’s delicious but when you take it to go they don’t give you much food and it shocks me especially for the price!! BUT we have another that’s called Stefanos and I think it’s delicious my husband isn’t that into it but when you take it to go they give you a good amount enough for 2 days! But over the both my husband prefers Olive Garden for quality and me Stefanos for quantity LOL!!! Can you tell I love to eat! That’s just me I want more for my buck but I definitely enjoyed this video!
