For anyone fishing down that way. Please do not throw back Jags, Mayans, Oscars. Or any other invasive fish like snakeheads and stuff. I promise you they will not go to waste. We need to fix our Everglades and save them.

I’d feel bad for them except they don’t realize working at noon is the worst time to in Florida and they keep showing up for these contractors......I’m still trying to figure the efficiency of working on roads at rush hour instead of the dead of night.....it’s as if they like not being efficient.

1. Working at night can be dangerous 2. Depending in when the road was built, you can add malaria like diseases to the risks, 3. Don’t forget the snakes, tics, and leeches. 4. When I was a kid in Florida in the late 50s and early 60s, a lot of road work was done by chain gangs, who worked from dawn to dark. Basically they were slaves. You don’t want to know how little and how poorly they were fed and kept hydrated. Where we lived I watched these things happen. Saw men collapse with heat prostration. It was awful…never forgot it.

These GoPro videos are great! Thanks for sharing them.👍
Very cool, puts into perspective what’s happening underwater, while your trying to figure it out from above. 👍👍😊
My mom had a '58 T-Bird convertible and we would make a day trip to Marco Island, top down. We never fished on the way though. We primarily fished salt water. In the 50's and 60's there was nothing there. The Tamiami Trail is a wicked road but so was Alligator Ally when is was first built. Tight lines 🎣and sunshine 😎
Florida glades are like a whole different world... Awesome!
Alligator Alley, drove MIA -NAPLES in 1968 in a new C5500 truck at night. Stopped and picked up 4 alligators (fresh kills) from the road, most were 4-5 footers. Skinned and tanned all, made wallets and belts for gifts, folks loved them. I went back several weeks later with a small boat and poled around. Found a gater nest with younguns, caught several with a net. That was a fun experience.

Really cool video brother 👍, I love watching stuff like this. Off course we fish these bridges all the time but to be able to see whats actually going on down there is just awesome. Thanks my friend and God bless.
That gator is actually watching your every move😅
I thought sure the first gator was going to snap up the camera, you were so close! I love that stretch of Americana. ❤
It seems like Florida is the best and #1 place to fish 🎣
Love the underwater videos

Hey bro I’m down in New Orleans and we have a spot called the Bonnicarie spillway you would flip at the amount of firearms and fishing rods that are very expensive. Best part is you can sell them or keep them. And I have caught big stripers large and small mouth if your ever down here check it out i think you would love it

Yes ! My favorite videos of yours man !!! Everglades and dropping the go pro !!!
Great drops as always Brant. Route 41 itself has some amazing pools for go pro drops. My personal favorites are in collier(west side of the peninsula)where you have a bigger influence of brackish water.
Gator says I don't eat GoPro's, send down the meat😂😂😅
That was pretty cool. Have you ever tried magnet fishing? It's fun! Also helps clean up the waters. It's getting pretty popular. I do it with my grandson & he has a blast! We have a lot of fun together!
My Mom and Dad used to have a condo on Marco. They sold that one and bought one in Naples. Been up and down Alligator Alley several times. I never thought the water was that deep.
I just could not go where there are alligators and snakes, I am so freaked out...but enjoyed watching!
Man I love these videos so much. I've always wanted to and still do want to know every time I cast what's under there. Keep up the great videos man we appreciate it! I'm guessing you knew that Gator was there the way you were getting the shot right
Now you need a magnet for these trips south to retrieve some knives and reels etc.......fun
Cool video. I’m sure there is lots of crazy stuff in there. I definitely enjoy your content!👍👍
that was pretty cool, good fisnin vid too..staysafe..
This is so cool! And I can’t believe how easily you catch those fish! 👀
I used to raise the red tiger Oscar’s. They’re pretty smart, funny too. I was able to have a few plecostomus hanging on the sides. He’d give them a chomp or two but nothing serious. Now the Jack Dempsey in another tank would kill anything in the tank. I put a bigger catfish in the tank and overnight they’d be dead by morning

41 is pretty cool. I've fished along there before, would like to go back.
Interesting question for you how do you control your GoPro? It was just attached to a single point on your fishing line. Second question on your driving through the Tamiami trail have you seen any large creatures? I did 30 or so years ago

In 1980 I bought a small oscar ( about 11/2 " long ) from Walmart,, put it in a 50 gallon aquarium in my house ,,it got about 9" or so, in 8 years ... He would jump out of the water to get food off my fingers ,, cool fish ...
Can't believe we used to swim in Gator Alley on 41 back when we were kids. We would go down there for the weekend with the family to set trot lines.
Great imagery!

Headed to everglades tomorrow morning at 6am from Searcy, Arkansas .
I love these type of videos! An the toilet is for the alligators to use. Lol. Keep these coming! Tell you like it too!
The thing you thought was a microwave looked like a computer tower to me. Same with the thing you joked about being a treasure chest. Probably had some damning evidence on its hard drive so whoever owned it chucked it.
Love the content. I hate seeing all those invasive species down there though. Lake Washington is flat loaded with placos.
intresting stuff under the bridge.....
Beautiful But Oh so dangerous loved the vid 👍
Hey Brant. It is a shame that you don't possess a mini underwater ROV you could drive around down there to film with.
How do you control the camera underwater? Looks like you can turn it
Great video Brant Wholey's enjoy the GoPro dropped in the water always makes me think I'm inside an aquarium except for the Gators don't care to mingle
Nice videos! You sound like Matthew McConaughey! I guess it's bass for supper!
Always so cool to see these videos. Thought there would be more stuff crawling around on bottom.
As an aquarist, i hate that Plecos are so rampant. People can be so ignorant.
Black or Texas largemouth, something i thought would be fun is bring a heavy duty magnet and rope, because if you something cool or worth while with the gopro yo you could haul it in 🤔😏

I'm a magnet fisher but 'm going to put my Gopro in the water like you do? Do you put it in in a protective case or not? I subscribed as well. Great ideas to make videos interesting!!!
When your camera turns slowly & shows the gators, I suddenly felt unsafe as my eyes focused & I realized what they were. Never even donned on me that Florida bridges likely had gators 🐊under them.
Strange piles of rocks near each bridge!! Almost like cement bags stacked up.
how do you make the go-pro go around in a circle?
Freaking dinosaurs down there & stuff lol
Jaguar cichlids are cool, i;ve only ever caught one of them,
Well I’m glad you didn’t get eaten LOL !!! 🧨🧨🧨
Amazing footage! So glad we don’t get alligators in the UK!
Whats your set up? I might have to do that on my next trip to MIA
It is really tragic and horrific what people have done to the Everglades. So many different invasive reptiles, animals, and now fish? The Everglades ecosystem has been decimated, or literally destroyed, and that is beyond tragic! The Burmese Pythons have been able to devour so many of the small animals. Now I used to be a owner of some reptiles. My two Burmese Pythons were tiny when I bought them. They grow pretty quick. And their size can become very intimidating. One of mine was over 10 feet +, and the other was almost 9 feet. One of them decided to strike at me. I learned really quickly that I was not able to handle a snake of that size on my own. Some people in these situations let their snakes go into the wild. That is beyond reckless. I found someone who took them from me. Now finding a home for a 10+ foot snake isn't easy, which is why before people buy one of these large snakes they should have to go through some type of class. Basically a training program. Also once someone does purchase a Burmese Python, or any of the snakes that can exceed 8-10 feet long, a tracking device along with a identification chip should be placed inside the Pythons. That way if one gets "lost" the could find it. Or it a person decides to release the snake into the Everglades they can be identified. This invasion, or invasive species needs to STOP!
Great video
Any given bridge in the entire northern half of my country / continent is more dangerous than this bridge...
If the toilet don't flow it's got to go...
Those bass were trying to determine if that gopro was food lol.
This was so interesting...
the microwave/stereo looked like a desktop computer case to me.
You need to get you one of those underwater drones that have an arm to pick stuff up
living much further north, this is like another world that I never want to visit
