The one thing that really irritated me about this entire sequence is if you look at those drones, they’re very small. Probably not much bigger than your average hand grenade. So I find it highly unlikely that they would’ve been able to explode with that level of force. Now you could argue that maybe they’re using some kind of mixture of explosive that is extremely potent. Because well there are things like that, but I still find it kind of dumb. Not only that, but the whole idea of this operation is just bonkers and I don’t mean that in a funny way. Like seriously. The whole plot of the third movie I fell is probably one of the weaker of the ones.

Nitro based plastic explosives are light weight and capable of what is seen in the video. Other's exist as well and are even better!

If you take a look at how they are fired, you'll know they are bigger than hand grenade. Half a meter long.

They are hollywood explosions. A real world drone about that size carries an explosive charge roughly equal to a 40mm grenade, which can do a lot of damage. Especially when several hit at once. They would easily be capable of the lethality shown. However, real explosive don't look nearly as impressive, there is very little flame. Just an instant flash and a cloud of smoke left behind. These are a few grams of explosive and a plastic bag of gas. Lots of fire, very little explosion. It looks impressive but is actually not that dangerous when compared to real plastic explosive. One other thing, going in the water wouldn't help. Nearby explosions in water are very, very dangerous. Water isn't compressible, it carried the force of an explosion much father than in air.

1:34 those stock sound screams. I last heard them in C&C Tiberian sun...

Its kinda funny all these dudes flying around in one piece after being exploded. Normally, that doesnt happen.

I've seen plenty of footage in Ukraine where dudes fly around in one piece after a drone exploded next to them. Although the explosions weren't this big.

while i love the fallen series, i wish they'd get the opening right. In all the 3 series the opening attack on president is just not at all possible with the level of security he has.
