I started building and flying rc planes 10 years ago and been flying fpv drones for like 4 years. My first advice to anyone who wishes to enter rc plane hobby is to start with a trainer model. Everyone wants to fly a fighter or super efficient wing but for newcomers, they are very hard to see and fly. Getting comfortable with a handbuilt foamboard trainer then switching to a wing is magnitudes cheaper and safer.

yes i fly both and heil and when first started with planes i did fixed wing lost one crest a lot the went to other planes then had fun Laurent a lot and now can fly anything just still cant spell lmao @@IvanEfimovLimon

@@IvanEfimovLimon I feel you, when i built and flew my first flying wing, there was no inav and i could not fly it. I didn't understand where the plane was pointed at and it was pointing at the ground 😂. Fun times.

Nice to see you in wings. i'm gonna guess 62mph with that combo. I love wings and have to say HD wings with the O3 system is a so amazing. I do want to recommend you step up to a Ritewing Mini drak next. Its without a doubt my favorite of my fleet of 8. So fast and flies like its rails.

I got into LOS flying in 2013 or so and it kinda fizzled out until this time last year when I picked up a Nano Goblin. I got super hooked on it, and am working on 3D printing my 6th plane as I type this. I love quads, but damn FPV planes are super fun too.

@@IvanEfimovLimon I got really good with those little UMX planes from Horizon. They have great stabilization and are small enough that you can fly them in the park and crash them in the grass without really having to worry. It's a great skill to have too in case you lose video. I still fly analog and just recently went to maiden a plane with a cheap ESC that knocked out the video unless you had it at zero throttle. I put on my goggles and it was pure snow so I took them off and just landed. I did hit a bush(I fly out in the middle of the desert), but it was much better than the alternative.

awesome video! wings are fun but wangs are funner :) i've never put an actual flight controller on a wing but it's on my list of things to do. wing yaw wiggle waggle drives me a little nuts on some wings. i really want to put a new dji system on a fixed wing thing for sure!

12:13 WHO HOHO HO HO HO HO HO it's sooooooo truuuueee man, I am also doing that every time I launch a wing first time. The workaround is to keed your left hand out of the sticks. You just bring it in when you need to adjust the throttle and just stear with a right hand, very easy peasy.

I started flying r/c planes in 1978 and then switched to drones in 2012 and now i fly both to satisfy my addiction of flying

@@ChainsawFPV I can remember some of the guys having the single stick on the radios to control alieron elevator and rudder and a slider to control throttle... I'm just glad I wasn't one of those guys back then and I was sure happy when when the crystals to change frequencies got phased out by technology in the early 2000's

thank you. i made a HK rajet and is a pretty fpv plane, and it fly like a charm. (with a matek f411 wte) amazing and more speed for more efficiency than a drone. for the speed >80mph (4s lipo) (i have to change the servos, esc, and motor one day)

Thanks man! I just bought a foam frame, the ones I have are in the description. The foam board usually means you will have to cut the frame from it by yourself :)

Have a wing coming from Aliexpress :) With that wing all laminated up, I'll go for 120mph in a sprint .

My S800 build was clocked at 240kmh this year, (6S, 2400kv motor that lasted a few runs) luckily I didn’t get a speeding ticket but if yours isn’t that quick, you need to up your game lol.

@@IvanEfimovLimon xing2 2400kv with the ethix 6inch bi blade prop (the pink and purple ones) with a regular cnhl black 1300 6s, the trick to getting really high speeds is to go up as high as you can then dive, we found and additional 65k doing that. The motor is the 4s freestyle one so it will burn out after 4 or 5 full throttle runs but it’s so much fun, especially flying FPV at that speed, can’t remember how many wings I’ve destroyed doing it though lol.

The max speed is between 111 and 118 mph, I guess. Wings are great and definitely worth to try out❤ I think I have to laminate my plywood AR Wing Pro too. The wings are not stiff enough.😢(I have no desire)

Я смотрел на что-то подобное с HEEWING Ranger T-1. Но там похоже нужны другие моторы совсем, чем с гоночного квада.

The Atom RC Dolphin is as close as your going to come. It is NOT BNF tho. You have to add a receiver. But the price and quality of the Dolphin is top notch. They have a huge bay with tons of room, and fly amazing. There are tons of tunes out there from others who have built the same, so copy and paste is great for newer people. And their Facebook group will tell you everything you could want to kno from others who have tried different combos.

Planes for FPV hobby for my is the best for the lomger flight time
