Drone Grand Forks, North Dakota | East Grand Forks, Minnesota

Drone Flying over Grand Forks, North Dakota and East Grand Forks, Minnesota highlighted some pretty aerial views of these two cities. I could not help but show the Grand Forks County Office Building which stood out amongst all the beautiful older architecture I truly enjoy. My travels to Canada from south Texas have taken me on I-29 four times over the last two years; however, this is the first time I stopped to enjoy these two cities. Normally I get fuel and a meal; however, this trip I spent most of a day and I truly enjoyed walking around both cities and the Red River. I will plan a layover here on my next trip also 😎

Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

lived here all my life, 23 years that is, i tried moving out to bigger places but honestly i love my small quiet town

I lived there for 3 months and my coworkers friend had their head blown off with a shotgun in a truckstop parking lot over a meth deal..

Wow. I lived through the flood of '97, but left soon after, and never got to see the rebuilt flood plain. I miss Popplers music being right there on the river & the old City Center Mall. Thanks for posting

I’ve lived here and it’s all great having the small town vibe but still being kind of big and the nature is nice and nice neighborhoods but the one thing is that the winters are super harsh. It’s less about the snow and more about it just being super cold all winter. Right now it is as I am typing this. 11am and 7 degrees and it’s calling for -3 overnight. So you just might want to keep that in mind if you move here

My son goes to UND. He’s home this weekend (E coast USA). Grand Forks, thanks for taking good care of him. He loves it there.

I love Grand Forks and North Dakota. I moved to bigger cities thinking it be better, in ways it was, there’s pros and cons, but there is no place like home!

I understand Kate. I also rushed to a big city when I first had a chance and I continue to wonder how much more I could have enjoyed in a simpler life style. I enjoy smaller towns more for meeting good people and bigger cities more for amenities. Why can’t we have it all 😎

This area has grown a lot since then. I know the winters can be harsh, but the rewards of more friendly people will go a long way :)

@@Trynnagetmydegree__ I spent my teen years and my young adult life in Southern California. In the Inland Empire mostly. There are plenty of really nice places there I must admit. But, for every 1 nice place there are 5 sh**hole neighborhoods 10 minutes away.
