Yes, it's so much fun! We get so inspired when we see beautiful homes 😊 it motivates us even more to work towards having our own one day!

Preston Hollow is actually the most expensive, closely followed by Highland and University Park. Lakewood is great too. My mom grew up in Highland Park.

I live in the suburbs 40 min away southwest of Dallas and the gated communities and private lands are massive like castle type shit

Don’t worry we all feel out of place when we pass through Highland Park lol

I moved from Louisiana and checked out some houses in Highland Park. The prices had me like “welp yall, let’s head to Oak Cliff” lol

There are many many neighborhoods/cities with bigger houses than Highland Park, however Highland Park is a very rich neighborhood where billionaires live. Those are older homes, but very expensive. It is not about the size of the homes once again. It is just a very pricey area.

I also enjoy cruising through rich neighborhoods 😂

Highland Park is crazy rich! They have their own society....schools, church, shopping area etc. Most of them are old money.

Go through Highland Park at Christmas and see the houses with lights

The houses in Preston Hollow, between Midway and Prestton are bigger mansions

Those houses are really nice. Dallas is a beautiful city at night when all lit up.

A $1MM home in a normal Dallas suburb is probably 3x as expensive in Highland Park. ($3MM+/-)... the other “Park City”, University Park .i.e SMU area, is maybe a little less expensive, but suffice it to say that both areas are very nice/affluent

Ok at one time this was the most wealthy neighborhood in the dallas area...but now there are rich neighborhoods like this everywhere...! I used to work right up the street from this neighborhood.

On a nice evening when it’s not so hot take a walk through Turtle Creek! I never appreciated how pretty our neighborhood was until covid when my partner and I started taking walks at night. You won’t regret it :)

I live in southlake, about 30 minutes from HP. I play against their girls lacrosse team each year. Southlake has some huge mansions too. Every car is a porsche, range rover, raptor, tesla, mercedes or decked out jeep. Someone on my street has a lambo. You should check it out! Edit : HP is old money, southlake is new money.

Actually, the highest home listing in Highland Park exceeds $19 million. Preston Hollow only gets to about $12 million. Still expensive, but Highland Park takes the cake.

@@destinyandmitch well see guys. U can take a 900 square foot home and put it in LA and it will cost 500,000. Take that same home put it on Florida its 50,000. Take those million dollar homes put them in Dallas same size now the are just half a million. It's TRUE. Location location location. So I want get wrapped up in location but I feel like I won with the same house for millions less.

Exactly - location inflates these prices quite a bit. This may be the "richest" neighborhood but it certainly isn't the best.

My coworker moved from his very manageable 3500 square ft home to a 2500 square ft home in a beautiful uppity neighborhood and he cries every single day to me about the rules the fines he get from homeowners association. The fact that he was trying to please his wife and now she wants to be like the other wife's and depend solely on his income which isnt enough. He is so stressed. I asked him why would you move? He said I left for what I thought was better and it turned out to be a nightmare. Happiness is where u find it not where someone told you it is. Nice talking to u guys and continue to travel. Try Maui next trip it's great this time of the year.

Yeah cottonwood valley is gated with a manned gate...not some cheesy button push entry any moron can get around..but manned with an list of authorized people...and no access if you're not on it or a the person you're visiting can't be reached by phone. That place blows HP out of the water !!

The area Highland Park is in makes it more expensive - there are more expensive listings here than in Preston Hollow.

@@destinyandmitch a house in highland park would go for maybe 1 million where as the people in Preston hollow's house for for the 1 million to 13 million. I grew up here and would know I work for people in both area's 😂 Preston hollow even has a NFZ (No fly zone) over it.

Better mansions on strait ln, I'll give ya that, but home listings have both neighborhoods at about the same price value and there are far more in Highland Park. I keep saying it's probably the area it's in that brings the value of Highland Park homes so high.
