The test candidate here failed for not noticing there was already a car parked in the bay they were trying to reverse park in. The examiner had to intervene even though they started again and did it well right next to the other car which as you can see was another driving school car! But because the examiner had already intervened it was a fail.
Incidentally, the car park used here in Plaistow Lane near Sundridge Park station gets clogged up with driving school cars, as can be seen in the video. I stopped using this one some time ago for this reason. Unfortunately for us driving instructors and examiners, there aren't many car parks in the Bromley area that are convenient for this manoeuvre.
