man. ive watched every video youve posted on your z31. AMAZING CONTENT. AND you have a good personality. You have a genuine talent for wrenching on shit and its honestly inspiring to watch. I have an 87 NA auto (sad) with 115 on the odo, sat for 9 or 10 years before she came into my possession. Im young and stupid and those cars are so old and computerized its intimidating. Having now watched your content (some of the only worthy z31 content on yt that isnt 10 years old), I now have a BURNING desire to drive mine as well. you seem to be well versed and very informed, you sir have earned a subscriber

If you've got a misfire it'll make the o2 sensor read LEAN as there's more unburnt oxygen to sense... Its called an OXYGEN sensor.

I don’t think u can put the harmonic balancer incorrect. I believe their is a grove that keeps in place

I don’t recommend putting your wideband sensor where your factory o2 is. That could also be causing you issues. Use ngk BCPR7ES-11 plugs and gap it to .038 Happy to see more people with z31!

I put my wideband in place of stock o2, fed the narrowband simulated output to the factory ECU and it runs great.

@@KnineLiveZ depends on the signal. Mine went from running at like 11:1 at idle+cruise to around 13-14:1. No more blackened fouled spark plugs. Gained like 5mpg too

Great video series!! I am installing a SC from a 02 xterra on my NA 88 300zx. Do you have any advice or recommendations? Do you think I can get away with using the stock ecu for around town driving? Thank you in advance.

I'm not familiar with the xterra engine setup. Assuming it has the same CAS, O2, TPS, and IAT sensors it should be fine.

where’d you find a windshield? i haven’t been able to find one
