Enjoy your videos and your novel; the scenery is always so uplifting and beautiful. I am so curious about the "1 Euro" homes in italy, could you do a video about why there are so many affordable, fixer-uppers?

Hi Carlo here, maybe you are already doing it, but you should follow LeAw Leave Everything and Wander - Luca & Sara, who undoubtedly know more than us on this topic, and are showing what you are asking, if you don't know who I'm talking about speaking, here is the link; www.youtube.com/@leaw However, what I can tell you is that in Italy many people move to the cities, and the small towns are emptying, in some of these small towns the government has taken over houses and then sold them for the symbolic sum of one euro, but I know that there are constraints linked to these sales, I don't know the details, but essentially these are houses that need work to be modernized, so they won't cost just one euro, but by doing so they would solve 2 problems: depopulation, and it would also serve to help the economy by providing jobs to local businesses!💕😘👋

Nicki and Carlo visited them last Christmas in the mountains.
Retirement really agrees with Carlo. He looks so relaxed and younger!! What a beautiful couple; it's uplifting to see how happy you both are with each other!
The hardships y’all endure are many living in a coastal mountain town but you have so many things that are such a blessing. First and foremost you have each other to depend on! You have the bounty of your gardens, a beautiful home, friends, such a sense of community, lovely views, a peaceful unhurried lifestyle. Compare what you have to living in a huge city with limited outside time, the stress of having to navigate city traffic, crime, being on someone else’s schedule at a job. Your lifestyle wins hands down!!!! I say all this after living on my own and raising my son since my husband’s death 10 years ago this month. I live in rural Louisiana on an acre of land and have recently retired. I am so joy-filled at being able to live this peaceful life even though my gardening is solitary, enjoying the life God gave me. Even when life is hard and I’m filthy and sweaty working in my gardens, I’m so grateful for my blessings!

Hi Denise Carlo here, I agree with everything you said, even what happened to you and how you seem to have dealt with it confirms it, unfortunately we all tend to complain about things that don't work, and we forget about the good things we have ! 💕😘👋

@@NickiPositano yes Carlo, I wrote what I wrote with a gentle heart, we do complain from time to time and that’s okay because it helps us reach deeper within and aspire higher. Thank you for helping me to reflect with your blog today and realize what my blessings are also. Good morning 🌞. Really interested visit through Provence. Indeed, Carlo the scenery & architecture is astounding. All of Europe is so ancient. I covet the rain that you experienced. It has been so dry here. So enjoyed seeing Sky's experience. Such fun! Truly beautiful Italian people. The sea ⛵🌊⛵🌊 is so beautiful & dangerous@the same time. Your home is a jungle without you! This was such an array of impressive experiences. Always superbly photographed. I am curious about the update on your quest for the property bid. The beauty of Positano is epic. It would be very difficult to leave that place behind . Ciao Bella❤❤❤❤❤❤.

All those handsome Italian men!
I think the core reason I love the Positano Diaries is because Nicki and Carlo are so relatable. I feel they are like me. Except, they live in an Italian paradise.
I agree with Carlo. The sound of waves are very soothing. We lived on the south shore of Nova Scotia for nearly 20 years and I worked at a resort where my office overlooked the ocean and a mile long white sand beach. Enjoyed seeing Skye and the captains on their mini vacation. Have a great week. 💕💕💕🇨🇦
This was beyond stunning Photography all the way through- what a treat!❤
Positano. So lovely at night. All the lights. The sea. And. That gorgeous moon….. welcome home!!! 🌺🌸🌼🌼💙😘🦋🙏🏻🌺🌸🌼🪴

I never get tired of your videos. The beautiful natural surroundings at home and on your trips, the beautiful people and delicious food. What's not to love?
Amazing! I loved seeing the French town Pont De Royens.
I agree with Carlo: listening to the sound of the sea waves is really relaxing! And the sea in Positano is beautiful!!! I'm glad everyone arrived safely. Even Itty Bitty Kitty was happy with your arrival, the only thing missing was a good welcome from Skye that left them without food...😂😂🥰🙏
Kudos to the Blue Star crew for speaking in English for the video! It is very much appreciated!! Thanks to Skye for filming! It was fun to watch and learn about this lovely small island Procida!
A wonderful tiny house for lodging, I know, it's bitter sweet leaving your dad in England. Such a nice man, he just loves you folks. You two had a nice vacation. Much love sent your way. 🎉 life every day with each other 🙏 from USA Virginia 💓
Saying goodbye and Harry waving as you drive away... always poignant. Yes I agree with Carlo, the sound of the sea is so beautiful, lulling one to sleep. What a cool hideaway in Pont en Royans with the clear spring waters. Lovely to see Skye and Nicola and the crew of the Blue Star having fun. A charmed life indeed ✨🙏☀️🕊️❣️
SO, soooo lovely seeing Skye, Nicola and friends enjoying so well the end of the Summer!🛥️🌊💦🇮🇹🍕🍝👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🩵🩵🩵
The shepherd’s hut reminds me of a gypsy caravan. So charming and fun. And thanks for views of shopping and the little towns. I love where you went. I too love the streets and architecture of these lovely towns. Wow, Positano at night with the drone was fabulous. It was fun seeing Skye and her co-workers having such a nice time moving the boats.
Another lovely video. Your walk around Provence made me want to be there right now! I enjoyed Carlo's reminescence about growing up to the sounds of the sea and would love to hear more childhood stories from him. ❤
Pont en Royans is amazing. I am like Carlo, the intricacy and ingenuity of the architecture that evolves from historic human habitation in places like this, Positano, Procida etc. blow my mind. It was sad to say goodbye to Harry, but wonderful to see Skye, Nicola and the other Captains having a most enjoyable holiday. Welcome Home and thank you for a most enjoyable video, Muffy from Oz
A big thanks to the BLUE STAR crew. It’s actually nice to see them take a break in the middle of the hectic summer season. They probably all needed to sleep for a day or 2!! 🛒 I always think of you when I come home from shopping- park in my garage and a few steps into the kitchen! I don’t know how you do those stairs & the heat. It’s keeping you in shape for sure. 🍋 😊🍋😊

I enjoyed the boat ride back to Positano. The changing of the season brings a different kind of beauty to land and sea!! Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts
Really enjoyed that video, despite the threatening clouds following you all the way home. Lovely to see Skye and crew, what wonderful employers they have, it definitely comes across that blue Star is all about safety, not just for the boats, but for the crew as well. Procida looks like a beautiful place to visit.
Pony en Royan looked so beautiful and the 3 day vacation with the Blue Star crew looked fun as well. Thanks for taking us along ❤❤❤❤❤
You two at the water park and in the stream.. are truly YOUNG AT HEART! So much fun to catch up with you as a break from Sunday housework and cooking for the work week. Cheers.
Thank-you for another wonderful video Nicki and Carlo, those beautiful French towns were fantastic. You did very well on that final 12 hours back to Positano! Can you believe the weather though you did leave the hottest days back here in England! Skye and friends looked like they had a good break from that stormy Positano. Glad you've arrived back safely xx

Seems like the weather have gone bananas thru Europe this summer, anyways it was nice haning out with you guys this Sunday as usual XOXO
Beautiful trip home It is wonderful how you find all of these lovely places to visit, like the one in France. I'm sure you were glad to get home and sleep in your own beds. Regardless of the inconveniences, you cannot beat the views and access to the Coast. While I understand, you must agree that there are worse places you could live. Thank you for another lovely video!!💜💜🦋
Thank you Skye for taking us to Procida … and thank you to all the handsome captains and fun friends, such a pleasure! 🥰🤗🍋

I think it's so funny how much the dogs love visiting England. They seem right at home there, and then they're ready to start the long ride home.
I always enjoy coming along on your adventures. Wonderful to see your family.

How beautiful France is 😘🩷
OMGosh ... I can't ever get enough! This is the best part of my week ... being in Italy.
What was fun, an adventure, even just acceptable at 40, became a pure pain in the butt at 60. Now, at 70+, having a supermarket a short stroll away, and lots of good restaurants with a 4 block radius, is absolutely wonderful.
I felt so sad when you were leaving Harry's house in England, while he was waveing🙋♂️ after your 🚙car😔😔...... I liked Port en Royande👍👍👍👍Also Liked the Skye&Nikola part, staying in boat ⛵and crusing🌊⛵🌊 with Captain Skye, back to Positano👍👏🌊⛵🌊🤩👍
I just noticed you reached 200K subscribers! Congratulations Nicki! Your channel is excellent. God bless you and Carlo. Hugs from Liguria. 💜
Wonderful scenery from your trip especially in France . Yes it is easy shopping In the UK but those big supermarkets are killing the small businesses . I know it’s tricky but I do love all the little food shops where you live . We have hardly any butchers greengrocers fishmongers anymore in the UK . I love Sunday evenings watching your Chanel ❤
Nicolas English is great! He’s been working on it . I loved seeing the views. 💙
Pont en Royans looks magically beautiful 😍 Definely need to visit . You uncovered somany beautiful places on your travels that I would like to visit .
Your videos are my favorite to watch on Sunday. Spectacular!
I loved this! Watching Skye with her friends on the boat (Procida looks beautiful) reminded me of Wendy and Amanda's boating adventures with their friends. I'm loving A Boatful of Lemons, which, lucky old me, I'm reading whilst on holiday in Positano! Thank you Nicki, keep doing what you're doing!
Awww your father is very sweet and kind, lots of love there ❤️
No one could leave such a good life for too long. I can still feel the sea wind in my face almost as life giving as it was to me on that coast heading to Sorrento more rhan forty years ago.

I feel sad every time you say goodbye to your father. It makes me think of my elderly parents who live far away from me and I can only visit them every 5 or 6 years. Carlo is so lucky to be able to see his parents every day.
Sooooo many beautiful sights to enjoy in todays episode, thank you for sharing ❤

Oh to be young again☺️
That was a nice vacation seeing all those places. I am actually glad you guys are home. I missed Positano lol. ❤ Have you ever done a video in Pompeii ruins? That place is fascinating. I remember Sky was going to the city before you both left. She has a nice life there.❤ Doggies must be glad to be home too.😊
Enjoyed your trip back from England, you and Carlo never disappoint with the videos, such a variation. I love travelling or walking up and down the stairs, taking the dogs for a walk, shopping etc etc visiting and I am so relaxed at the end of it. Lovely to see Skye with her friends of the 'Blue Star line' Elizabeth and her crew are very nice. Thank you for sharing and by the way it was lovely to see your dad again too Nicki. Have a lovely day everywhere.
What lovely adventures
Amore Bella ! Luche !!! growing so fast and precious ! We love you Beautiful People!
Oh, how nice really (not the stormy weather) to be able to spend a few nights in lovely Procida - I love it there. Bad weather but such a nice treat of a few days stay there. When I was there I saw a buggy and horse (not for tourists but for the local person and his son getting around - there's something still mostly authentic there that I found on Capri decades ago (now very changed). Thanks for sharing!
The sea has such a soothing sound. I feel you on the rain, we live outside of Vancouver Canada, the rain is brutal in the fall and winter.

Sorry that you had bad weather seem to be running everywhere I think I hope you bought those bags that you seen at that 1 town in France the shopping bags once that you held up they were absolutely gorgeous I would like to have a couple of those. Seeing the boat being sent off or to be safe was actually awesome also with the kids sleeping on board or I should say the young people not kids and I think your dog's work glad to get home too again another very good video can't wait for your next one. And I do wish you had parking closer so that you could grocery shop and not have to walk download million stairs.

Sorry you had so much rain. Happy travels to Skye too. ❤️👍❤️

What a fantastic trip!! Thank you for bringing us along❤ When you have no food, just go to Carlos's parents house to eat😉
I love it when you visit Carlo's parents. It reminds me of growing up in the 70's when my town had a lot of Italian speaking older people with whom I felt so close. I miss them.
I hate seeing Harry look so sad when you leave. What a great little town and the shepherd's hut was adorable! What a good looking crew of boaters!!

My favorite KZread couple. I wish my husband and I can visit Positano in the future. 😊
I listen to the sea also; the waves keep me rested on my cell phone. Some of it a stormy sea. You take what life offers!💖
I can’t believe it, my husband & I have been watching your channel every Monday morning while having our breakfast & tomorrow we are going to be in Positano for a few hours! Very excited to be back. We stayed there in 2014 and loved it. Love you guys & your adventures. Hi from New Zealand.
So enjoyable watching you swim in France.Such a lovely place.thank you so much for sharing
Lovely. All lovely. Even through the rain.
Loved Carlo's romantic story of the sea being a lullaby, I agree, I can listen to the waves for hours. (think of the positives Nicki, shopping can be difficult for many people living in small villages and towns, or like many of us who don't own cars, scooters or beautiful gardens growing an abundance of gorgeous food) Enjoy the beauty in life 💚
OMGoodness.. This was my Favorite episode.. I was mezmorized with the Water Scenes and the Beautiful Boats and the Vintage feel of it...... The ice cream color buildings in the background.. I could live there!
The Procida boat staff trip looked lovely. Glad the boats were safe. Lovely to see Harry The Jam King at the beginning of the video. Great trip report on way back. I get it now, the post holiday 'nothing to eat or drink in the house' thing is far more difficult for you than it is for the rest of us. Doggies looked happy. Carlo's parents to the rescue!
