I’m from Hayward, I lived w my grandma and as soon as I saw Sherwin Williams I knew exactly where you were, I miss Hayward but I still try my best to go by every weekend and spend the night w my cousin se we take walks around downtown Hayward, usually we head to the theater there then get some ice cream after, those are the best times

Funny story. I had just came back from boot camp in 99. Me and a friend went to eat at that wienersnitchzel you passed by in the video before hittin up southland mall. Man a piece of one of them cheap plastic forks broke off and got lodged in my throat. I go to kaiser and they say "dont worry about it. It will dissolve. Kids do it all the time." So i think nothing of it. I go back to complete the other portions of my training in florida and then virginia. By that point in time, my neck has a huge lump on it. I go back to the doctor and they said it needed to be removed. So i had surgery. Removed an inch sized abscess from my neck. Sure enough the plastic fork piece was right in the middle of it. Fast forward a few years later, I'm a sergeant running my own platoon and some new marines check in. At the end of a briefing im giving i introduce the new marines to the platoon. Someone asked them if he had any funny stories from being on school. The new marine says, well there was this one dumb ass marine that ate a fork. Everyone busted up laughing. Kid had no clue it it was me. They still tell that story till this day.

coming off the freeway and on the left that's where the old flea market used to be, used to love flea markets when I was a kid but I guess everyone's too high class for that now and real estate costs make it impossible to have them, like drive in theaters.

That’s definitely true in Bay Area driving. I saw a few cars with rear bumper said “ STAY BACK 50 FEETS”. I wonder where they got that sticker from😅. What state you in Mari?
