The greatest city in the world
I used to live in Calgary 20 years ago, so much have changed. The video is so clear as I am watching it on a big screen TV. I can feel the cold. 😂

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets stuck at just about every red light in Calgary.

Seems like a pretty nice place to live; if you can deal w/ the cold winters....
That's really nice and I've been on that same road many times before as well as I live in Calgary!
Calgary is buetifull any time ,
Waw 😍 very beautiful city, I love you Calgary,❤️ I miss you so much Canada. I won't to see Red Deer next time 😊
Beautiful city
How amazing and super physical stamina people have to be able to construct such the gigantic highways and streets which seem much more and uncomparable capacility for people willing to drive on the roads and streets built!

Hi, I was just wondering what camera set up you used? Did you have a gimbal on your dash? Thanks in advance.

I used DJI Pocket 2 and any dashboard mount will do as long as it can hold the pocket 2..
No its not San Diego or Vancouver BC. yes it gets very cold in winter, and yes every street looks the same , but the people are the nicest i ever seen. They smile when greeting you. Unlike Toronto.

And here I am just thinking how beautiful everything is in Calgary! 😆 The streets, the buildings, the snow, the grey skies. 🤍

Man it looks pretty depressing in the winter, even more so than the overcast rainy coast.

The breaks of warm and dry sunny days help a lot. Can't imagine how much worse it is in places like Winnipeg.
Wow. I didn’t know there homeless sleeping in tents, that’s too cold.

Coming from the northeast I see over the Langevin bridge I’m guessing. I’ll soon see (I stopped the video at 1:28 to finish this comment).

There are some small lakes (nothing to write home about), definitely no ocean being completely land locked, but the mountains are right there. Calgary is on the edge of the Rockies. To the east - prairies, To the south - large rolling hills and rivers To the north - forest, rivers and lakes To the west - rocky mountains. Add with that, diverse culture and relatively clean city with a safe active night life, plenty of family day events. Lots of hiking and biking and water fall trails around Kananaskis. Plenty of crown land camping in every direction... It's a pretty great place to live in my opinion.

Lots of random violent crime at the moment, homelessness is rampant and businesses are dying
@hunka007
2 жыл бұрын
Not true. Calgary has always had homelessness. Because of the pandemic, they are more visible, because of the lack of workers downtown. Writing this in early May, many thousands of workers have returned to their offices and businesses are recovering. The businesses you speak of, are retail outlets, restaurants. They are coming back quickly. Locals know the importance of these businesses and are supporting them.
