This is all very straight-forward in today's industry, but just the way he presents these cases - amazing!

Companies leverage digital technology to play a vital role in the consumer's journey. Overall an excellent way to re define business strategy.
Great presentation. Peloton bikes was very profitable during the pandemic but down in the dumps now because they didn’t innovate. Their strategy was based on pandemic and lockdown lasting forever.

Synopsis - To avoid missing the bus on technological innovations, companies are taking efforts to make sure they remain innovative and up to date. Sunil Gupta, talks about how digital era has brought in New Strategy rules. The movement from traditional cost/differentiation leadership to Razor blade strategy and towards Network Effects. Another upcoming strategy followed by companies is to use digital technology to identify potential consumers of service. They may not be direct customers but they are consumers of your service. Digitalization can allow identify potential consumers and target strategies towards them.
I saw the video a few years back. And time has arrived to comment that is due: "An amazing narrative." 👍
