The celebration of the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is the best excuse to get closer to the Côte d'Azur on the French Riviera and show you how the city lives this event.we arrive in Cannes through the spectacular views that the Gulf of Napoule offers us from the town of Théoule-sur-Mer we will take its promenade where we pass through the well-known old port and the conference festival palace where the famous contest.
Later we walk through its busy streets crowded with visitors, shops, restaurants and hotels to end this glamorous walk in the popular Pointe Croisette area where we arrived by crossing the Boulevard de la Croisette.
The city of Cannes, although it was fortified in 1035, was not independent as such until the year 1530, the year in which he disassociated himself from the monks who had been controlling the city for hundreds of years; During the 18th century, both the Spanish and the British tried unsuccessfully to gain control of the Lérins Islands, islands whose history is closely linked to that of Cannes, so much so that it is believed that Cannes was born as a port of link of these islands; Already in the 19th century, the tourist city that we know today began to take shape with projects such as the rue d'Antibes or the opening of the Hotel Carlton on the town's seafront (Promenada de la Croisette). You can visit the oceans and the other seas worldwide but there is only one Mediterranean sea! Beautiful blue colour and amazing smell! And city tour, driving, editing, dunno what to say except as always: pure 10 👌👌👌

Madre mía, la belleza de esta ciudad deja a uno sin palabras. Es perfecta. Los edificios, el puerto, las zonas verdes. Se nota que es una ciudad carita, ni imaginar quiero lo que debe costar un apartamentito allí. Como siempre un video excelente Just Driving, tu calidad es flipante.
